Hey! I'm new to this forum so I was curious as to what kind of choirs everyone's in. Just say stuff like what kind of music you do, if it's a school, church or other kind of choir, and what your instructor's style of teaching is(harsh, mellow, nothing but singing till class is over).

I'm on my University's Vocal Ensemble...and My CD is hilarious...but when the intro plays all must be silent and ready to song or else she will kill you....XD

I'm in my colleges Choir as well...we separated our choir into 2 parts that come together for the big concert...
I'm in the Accappella Choir that sings all the classical peices, as opposed to the Worship choir that sings all the contemporary praise songs

I'm in my school choir and on my worship team at my church. Also, I like to be in musicals and am looking for something to do with drama. heart I'm also a total band geek. xd

I'm in a lot of things...
I sing in choir at school and we pretty much sing many different songs new and old, like "when I'm 64" by The Beatles and "The Reason" by Hoobastank and we do it without any music in the backround so we pretty much harmonize.
I also sing for the younger kids at my church every Sunday. This is me and two other people for vocals, a couple guitar players and a drummer. I also have to do dancing and hand motions for every worship song including the communion songs.
And lastly I sing on Wednesday nights at church for the middle school and high school teens... It's pretty much the same thing as singing for the younger kids except theirs a couple more singers, it's much louder, their are no motions involved and to me it seems more like a band. Out of all of them this is my favorite! heart

im in my worship team at church biggrin were a lil church and hav lots of older ladies so we do lots of slow songs but im tryin 2 get them more into fun and fast music. im also tryin 2 get them 2 not just sing the words but 2 realy mean them and worship. but im only 1 person any advice?

I do alot of stuff at church. Im on the praise team at my church. I play the bass guitar and the drums. Normally my dad asks me to sing a song before he goes up to preach. Its alot of fun lol smile
