Here's the deal. SOMEONE (I won't name names, Demon Riku) deleted the old RP because SOMEONE isn't creative enough to fly by the seat of his pants and RP. Here is the new one, use the same characters if you wish as they have already had some development put into them, unless you were not one of the ones who actually bothered to do anything with their characters. Same setting, I'll back track a bit and create the scene that had happened before and also allow for the abscence from that scene by my character. This way those that began once who may wish to alter the occurances in their character's short-lived lives can begin again and those of us who have been RPing can continue to do so with minimal disturbance.

A young woman sat on the counter of the bar, her feet swung back and forth over the edge. It was hard, mostly impossible, to tell she was a female. To all who would look at her would surely mistake her for a male despite the pink patch she had sewn to her pants. Her hair was short and black and hidden beneath the brim of her brown puffy hat. She gazed over the brim of her glasses, wondering where on earth the tender of this bar may be. Her tongue clicked in annoyance, there were scraps of wood behind the bar, she assumed there must have been a scuffle in this bar at some point.. perhaps that is why the bartender is not here. She did not bother to steal, and after all she did not drink alcohol anyway.

Dea rushed in from the stairwell. Something was terribly wrong and she was bound to figure it out. The place was still a mess from the intoxicated brawl the night before. She'd not remembered much of why everything was so messed up and her window was left ajar. That window had been locked since the beginning of fall...
At the bar sat a scruffy boy sitting as if he'd come for a drink.
"Hey, kid. You shouldn't be in here. It's dangero--" A realization seemed to take over dea's face like a rushing epiphany. With this her eyes narrowed as she pressed through the clutter and cool air of the room. "How did you get in here? ...and -why- weren't you smart enough to leave." Her stance was defensive, ready for anything, and though her features seemed soft, her voice was harsh and direct.

She merely lifted her head and tilted it, turning to face the woman who had just run in. "Yer door is unlocked.. or the lock is broken.. pretty sure it's the broken lock one." She spoke as her eyes followed along the path of destruction from whatever went on the night before. "Ya know.. you should be more careful when running a business.. if ya don't fix yer lock people could steal things."

As the kid spoke her eyes relaxed for a moment. Raising her eyebrows, her mouth also twisted with boredom she rolled her eyes in a under heavy lids.
"And lemme guess, you came in to protect me and hold the fort down." Her hands rested on her hips. She spun around to start collecting some of the debris, her jet black wavy hair trailed behind her leaving the small of her back to complete the circle as she kneeled.
"...look it's admirable that you came, but I've been taking care of this place, for probably longer than you've been potty trained." She looks over at the boy tucking her hair behind her ears. "I mean, what are you, twelve?"

"Heck no, I ain't here to protect nobody and I ain't holding no fort down. I just came in to sleep and then I was hungry and you weren't here so I waited to buy some breakfast."
She watched the woman begin cleaning, though didn't make a move to help out, "unless you'd rather me steal it... and I'm older than twelve. You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
She swung her feet around and hopped off the counter, behind the bar. She started to rummage around, opening cupboards and drawers and peeking into a door that lead to the back, not sure if this place even had a kitchen or not. "So whatcha got to eat?"

"Hey! That's off limits! Wait-- don't touch that..." She dropped the wood she had. "Ouch." She looked down at her hand to see a splinter of wood embedded in her palm. She walked to the boy who was curiously rummaging through the cabnets
"Out of my way kid." she growled as she slammed the door he was holding open closed.

The creature ran through the forest as fast as he could. He found that running on all fours put more space between him and his captors, much faster than running on two legs, although he did run much faster than they did, no matter what. His escape went unnoticed as his captors were trying to put out a fire on the other side of their camp site. After breaking out, the creature had taken to the trees as to not leave footprints on the ground, but after a while, he decided to take to the ground, because he was having trouble balancing on the slipery branches, as it had begun to rain.
He didn't know where he was, but any place was better than where he was from. He found it odd that even though it was raining, there was a thick fog. He couldn't see anything, but he kept going ahead. After a few minutes of running, a wall appeared out of nowhere, which he almost ran into, but saw it just in time. The wall was high, and he knew even he couldn't jump up that high. He placed a paw on the wall, and followed it. He wondered what was inside the walls. Then he found a whole just big enough him to fit through. He crawled through the hole and stood on the other sde of the wall, to find himself staring at a town. There was no fog in the town, but it was raining lightly. "Where am I?" he asked himself quietly.
He then heard someone coming towards him, so he lept around the nearest corner. He needed a place to stay in, but every place looked as if were a home, and there were lights on in most places. So, he continued to run. As he ran, he heard voices coming from in front of him at a distance, so he decided to turn, but he also heard voices from behind him. He didn't have time to think. He entered the first door he found unlocked. It was filled with boxes and other things; but he took no time to examine them, instead closed the door quietly and stayed silent. He waited a few moments and decided to try and find something to eat. As he walked through the room, his tail swung slightly from side to side, due mainly to the fact the he was free from his imprisonment. As he explored, he tripped over something and slammed into the shelves and all their contents crashed to the floor and on top of him. He stayed still and hoped no one heard him.
((My character is a Lion Anthropomorph, just so you know what you will find in the room.))

She glanced up to the woman as she slammed the door shut, then heard a crashing noise that came from behind it. Her hand reached up again and she grasped the door handle, jerking it open once more and peering into the room, some boxes had fallen but she saw no one inside. Whoever, or whatever knocked those boxes over must be behind a box or crate.. something.
"You 'specting visitors?"

"Get back" she stepped infront of the kid. she crossed the threshold of the stock room with caution. "who's here?" There was no answer. without turning to address the boy behind her she sighed. "all that bangin around you did, just knocked the stock over." she took a few more confident steps to peer around the crates...
"My word." Dea gasped, quickly containing her composure. "It's nothing. Just... uhm, a cat. So just get outta here kid. We're closed."

The lion-creature saw no point in being still anymore, so he began to move things off of himself so he could stand. Once he had cleared everything off himself, he stood. He was much taller than both, but he didn't want to seem as a threat, so he stood there and said, "Sorry about that, I didn't mean to bother anyone."
Afterwards, he fell silent and waited a response and he listened carefully. The people outside were gone, but he had already been discovered. He only hoped the two in the room with him wouldn't turn him over to his previous "owners."

She leaned against the doorframe and looked over to the woman who owned the establishment "Just a cat, huh? Some cat you got there. Kind of big for a cat, aint he?" She stepped further into the stock room, taking closer notice of the contents of the boxes, she still hadn't gotten her breakfast, afterall.
"Ya don't bother me none, but careful for this old lady here, she's a bit feisty. Says it's closed, but she didn't bother to fix the front door.. or lock it.. 'parently she dint do nothin to the back door neither, aint really a safe joint to hang around, aint it?"

Deavion sighed with disbelief. Lightly slapping her face she closed her eyes to keep her composure.
While her eyes were yet closed... "Look." she sighed. "What do you want? ...This isn't a hide away. It's a business. I have work to do and I can't be having boys and kittens romping around..." her voice becomes from stating the obvious to annoyed. "making my life --argh" She pauses for a moment. And seemingly more calm "What do you want?"

"Kittens?" the creature looked behind himself and around the rooms. "I do not see any kittens. And the only thing I want is a place to stay for a couple days. I'm sorry to inconvenience you, but if you allow me to stay, I could clean up the mess I made, and fix your front door, if what your friend say is true." The creature was now a little calmer, and he felt something warm running down his side. He looked at his right side to see it soaked in blood. He then remembered that his previous captors, shot at him as he made his escape, he just never realized that he was grazed. He clutched his side and hunched over a little bit.

"Boys? bah. I don't romp around. Besides, if'n ya serve breakfast I'm a paying customer." She didn't bother to mention she was a girl, her facade had been effective before, sometimes it isnt safe for young women, and no one really wanted young boys anyway. She glimpsed the blood on his side and looked around.
"Ya got bandages or you gunna let him sit around and bleed on yer merchandise?"
