 Animazement is North Carolina's first, and largest, anime convention. It takes place over Memorial Weekend in late May, and hosts many events such as guest panels, concerts, cosplay chess (and the contest), AMV contests/showings, Anime Hell, and a lot more. There are (lots of) things to buy in the Dealers' Room, and Artists' Ally, and it's a lot of fun.

The Raleigh Convention Center (RCC)
500 South Salisbury Street
Raleigh, NC 27601
I'll post more information for 2010 (like I did in the IBC thread), as it becomes available. =]

I heared that they may be turn on this year. I pointed out to them over on the AZ's web site that I bout fell on those metal steps and that some one did fall on them when they were turned off.

My feet where killing me. I tried to take the elevator but ti was over crowed at the doors and in it.
What was weird, the step were moving over in the hotel part.

I liked the concert, too, even though I could only go to the encore. ...and substitute my own.

yeah...i missed the concert last year..it was WAY too crowded..its amazing how people can just sit in one spot the whole time with everything going on there at Animazement

I could not stay in one spot for long. I was on the go most of the con. Did not really stay put much till at night when the con was over but the center was still open.

yep..it is fun to meet people at AZ..and since so many things happen there..its hard to just wait around for the next one to come around sometimes
