So in my music class we're doing a section on the 50's
and ive always liked it
but now i know more about it!
And i must say
THE 50'S ROCK!!!!!!!!
So post here about the 50's fads, music, ETC.

i know he might be overrated, but i LOVE Elvis!!! king of rock and roll TO THE MAX!
Benny Goodman: lord of the big band/swing! (although this might be a bit earlier than the 50s)
Dion and the Belmonts: RULES! probably my favorite!
The Chordettes: Mr. Sandman!!!
and a lot more that I love haha...
I'd like to know more big band stuff. I know Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Woody Herman, and Count Basie... Anyone know any other good ones?

haha speaking of which, they were showing "Grease" today hehe... i've never seen the entire movie! sweatdrop how lame is that! not even today when they were showing it coz my mam wanted to watch something else stare
i've seen Crybaby though, HAHAHA!!! i totally love love love that movie (despite its retardedness)!!! Plus you can't get any hotter than Johnny Depp as a greaser xd Has anyone else seen it?

Ooh, btw i hear that Disneyland is having a Rockabilly/Psychobilly night sometime mid November! (i believe it might be the 14th but i'm not 100% sure sweatdrop ) I know Disneyland has a Bat Day (a day for goths) and a Gay Day, and i'm very excited to find out about a Rockabilly/Psychobilly day! I bet it'll be super fun! so yeah, if anyone lives nearby or can make it, perhaps that would be something fun to check out 3nodding especially if you love the 50s!
