is it just me or does that scene seem cut short?

the last page is just jack running at santa, and santa running at jack.

Theory: they collide with massive foce reminding them of their childhood and both become friends or so santa thinks and jack smacks santa daown claiming christmas he stands tall and tells the easter bunny he's next!
