Here's hoping this is in the right place. I just got on and found the newest update. - "You has 3-25 days to hatch your eggies or you loose them" So... Discuss. biggrin Personally, I'm fine with that. I have every other day off school and only work a couple hours every couple of days, so I have plenty of free time. And, like many others, I'm tired of loosing event eggs to people that are never online except to get events. However, while I can hatch a normal maturity egg (5,120) in less than a day, that takes all day on GPX, which sometimes isn't very much fun.

I think this new update is completely reasonable. It makes sense. Whats the point of all these people have event, novelty or Legendaries and just having them sit in their party? I think this'll make it easier for other people who are on everyday to actually get these eggs.

sweatdrop I don't actively go around clicking people, so I may end up losing eggs if I'm not careful... Ahh, what should I do?

Ask nicely for Gaia people to click you? Put them in your posts again? I'd imagine you have about 5-6 days for a regular maturity (5,120) egg.

Going through my PC, I realized I usually only take 3 days to hatch a regular egg. At most, I mean.

That seems more than fair. I've never had a normal maturity egg take more than about a week.

New Update: I was checking it again, and they've updated to something much more agreeable, in my opinion. From gtsplus.net:Because of this poll, the update for the 7th is being canceled. Depending on the outcome of this poll, the chosen update will take place on Sunday. That means this poll will run until 11:59 PM on Saturday, which is the 10th. What should be happening in the update: Very Rare/Novelty Restrictions: This is the substitute idea. With this, a new filter will be put into the Event script that states users who already have "X" amount of very rare/novelty eggs in their party will not qualify. Also, if you have "X" amount of very rare/novelty eggs still in your Party, you will not be able to see any very rare/novelty eggs -or- Pokémon in the Lab and Shelter. This will also prevent more hoarding. X is yet to be determined. But this should be the idea they are going to choose, since this stops people worrying about losing their legendary/novelty/very rare eggs.

Though I personally completely agree with the original idea it does seem more user friendly if they do the very rare/novelty restrictions. Though that kinda annoys me because me being one of the users who goes on several hours everyday won't be able to get the eggs from the users who are incapable of hatching them. But whatever happens happens. I don't entirely care either way. I won't be effected by it.
