I thought the episode was okay. I'm not a fan of watching Echo for 50 minutes with very few scenes of other characters. The first half was pretty boring for me but it got much better when they tried to take away her baby. Eliza's acting was amazing in that scene as well as the ones following.

I was disappointed how they used Sierra though. What a waste. Plus, no Victor or Boyd. sad

The episode did a good job of showing what possibilities the Dollhouse has and what it does to its actives. Just took a while to get there for me.

Yay for Miracle Laurie and Alexis Denisof though!

It was all Echo's active job and like no dollhouse stuff! last week was so well done and went so much deeper! this was just a filler episode.
It was worse active job-wise than the early episodes of last season, too, cause there was no purpose for it at all! we already know the glitching, we already know the growing connection between Ballard and Echo, and they didn't even have a meaningful reason to bring in November. ugh.
and what about topher! no dimensions. he was such a strong character last episode!

I think there was a point to it. I mean it showed how Echo doesn't only remember what they put her through, but she still feels those strong connections that they forced on her. It wasn't totally pointless for November because she is pretty much the opposite of Echo right now. She doesn't feel sad about losing her child anymore, yet Echo who has the option to forget, would rather feel the pain than feel nothing at all. As for Topher, I think that when he was telling Echo he was a nice man, was more trying to convince himself that he was a good man. But that is just my take on it.
