So I recently just tried to take my first prenatal (I don't like big pills so I cut it in half). I couldn't even swallow the thing without throwing up. So today's solution is to mix it in something I'm willing to eat. At the moment I am not-so-enjoying my prenatal spaggettios and meatballs.
Is there any advice for this?

I didn't take them, I just made sure my diet was well rounded. I ate lots of veggies and fruits. Drink a bottle of OJ everyday stuff like that.
My doc said you could take normal Vit. as long as your getting them, you just replaceing what the baby is taking so go find something like the gummies or somthing

I'm hoping I can talk my OBGYN into letting me take the Flintstone vitamins. I was hoping that my spaggetios would mask the taste of prenatals but it appears to be the other way around. xd

▽▽▽Are you making sure to eat plenty of food before taking the prenatals? Because I know I threw up when I tried taking a folic acid supplement without eating. They tend to make people nauseous if you don't eat beforehand. And it is actually better for you to have natural vitamins, like in foods and such, but you don't want to give up the supplements if you can help it. After all, you're not 100% certain that you'll get everything you need every day... △△△

The vitamins I took are called Prenate DHA they have no taste and will not make you sick. They are pricey though around $60.

Maybe it's your brand? The walmart brand made me want to die but the Walgreens brand sits really well with me... Just a thought heart

Try taking them at night before bed. It helps me out a lot. I used to get really sick when I took them during the day sad

I had to take Flintstones my whole pregnancy. After a few weeks of my prenatals making me sick, I switched over.

M i L K c a n d y I read you can take two flinstone vitamins in place of 1 prenatal. I talked to my OBGYN nurse about that and she said we'll use that as a last resort. She was so nice giving me pills that fit my needs. I got free samples of three different kinds of pills. She was so nice and cheery that I hope when I actually get to see my OBGYN doctor she's just as nice.
