FUNIMATION HAS FINALLY ANNOUNCED THE FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD CASTThe producers/directors are the same ones who were involved in the old series, and Winry's voice actor is also going to be co-directing. The voice actors are also mostly the same, except for Scar and Al of course. Aaron Dismuke (Al's old voice actor) is apparently going to have some kind of an appearance later on in the series. I'm glad they reunited the old cast. They would have been stupid not to, given all the awards they won last time ... not to mention many of us are used to the original crew and it would have been weird to hear different people in those roles. So what do you guys think?

(Wow, I haven't posted in the guilds in soooo long!! >.> lol)
Anyway, since this has been up for a while, and no one's replied, I thought I would. 3nodding
I was so stressing out the week before the cast was announced. I knew it was to be announced that weekend, but I was so scared that one of the first series's actors wouldn't get their character back. So when I read the list when it was finally revealed, I just couldn't stop shaking!! lol But I was sooo relieved. No surprise that Aaron wasn't going to be Al this time(though still really sad...), but I was very happy that almost everyone else is back. And Aaron's gonna have a role anyway, so that's awesome!! (My bet's on Ling~ lol)
So yeah, I'm very happy with Brotherhood's cast. blaugh

I liked the original english voice cast but they changed Al's voice so for brotherhood I like the japanese I liked the english in the regular FMA neutral neutral neutral neutral

I kept coming back after I posted it, and after a while I just kinda decided to come back and respond to whoever posted ... there's not a lot of action in this guild is there? Surprising, since FMA is so popular and there's a great new series to talk about ... I agree with you totally, I was worried about the casting too. A lot of people seem to think he'll be Ling as well. I made a clone of this thread in the A/M/C and lots of people thought this.

Well, the English cast did win awards, and it would be really hard to imagine anyone other than Vic Mignogna as Ed. I'm glad they decided to keep Aaron Dismuke in some capacity ... again, a lot of people seem to think he'll be Ling.

She says the Captain has a rule to kick out members that don't post often enough. I guess it works, because Gundam Wing is a lot older than FMA ...

It used to be really, really active when I first joined. Heck, that's why I joined it in the first place; it seemed like the best and most-active FMA Guild on here. Now it's sad...

Well it could totally still be revived ... first, create new threads (and with the new anime its really easy to think of new topics) then find a way to bring it to the attention of the members. Creating a new must-post rule would just be one way to do that.
