In all honesty, Utah isn't so bad. nonmormons [usually] aren't oppressed, and the people here are really nice. all of my friends are LDS, and we get along just fine.
So while other threads are here to b***h and moan about mormons, let's talk about how nice they can be as well. Sure, they might have strange beleifs, but often times, those beleifs make them kinder.
It's just sad that they can't drink caffeine. *takes a drink of Pepsi* mmmm... hyperactive goodness in my veins.

you do realise, some members of the Guild are LDS? And this isn't a Bash the Mormons Guild, it's an escape from Utah society, escape from the Molly Mormons and Peter Priesthoods. But teh point is to talk about each other, on topic beyond religion.

Meh, I don't really hate utah, but it was alot of pressure of the people asking me to be mormon, or why i am not mormon, i am in georgia now.. isnt so bad here

i decided the weather here is quite nice. sure it can get deathly hot and so cold you think your toes are frozen solid...but hey, variety is good...right?

Utah is okay, but I hate it during class registration time. I just want to poll everyone in my school with a poll on seminary. My questions would be:

why? why would you think about seminary any more than you have to? once it's over... ahh, the freedom is beautiful. then they just find different ways to tie you down and beat the heathen out of you.
i mean, umm... good things... good things.
the cost of living is fantastic... really. even gas is pretty cheap. and milk for less than 2 bucks a gallon. and 100$ housing in the summer? ahh, the beauties of a place that no one really wants to live.
