We are planning a movement out of this guild to a new one where this account will be the captain. Nothing will change when it comes to the people in char - I, Randieh, will continue to act as admin and will keep RyuNero and Serial_Poker as moderators.
The move is scheduled to happen in two weeks. As of Friday, October 16, we will be picking up and moving to the new guild. This will coincide with the majority of the plague passing (seeing as playing a bunch of sick people isn't as fulfilling as the aftermath).
That being said, a thought occurred: When we move, how would you guys feel about a year-long time-skip. We would be picking up in the 3rd month of year 2761, the 3rd year of the 10th Pass. The plague would have swept through most of the Weyrs and Holds and be mostly absent and the rebuilding of Pern would begin in its full force.
What this would mean: You would have a year of filler to make up for your characters: relationships from friendships to lovers could occur and a shift in emotions as your little ones grow might be fun. We would be coming in as the current batch of Junior Weyrlings graduate: the greens would be getting ready to have their maiden Flights and we would be nearing on the time for Amenth, Karansk, and Elenneth to have their next clutches.
We would be starting almost completely fresh and I think it would give us a nice breath of clean air, but that's up to you guys.
So:
Anyone have a problem with the move-date?
What is your opinion on the timeskip?
Oh, and because I want as much of everyone participating as possible:
Anybody got some good plot ideas they would like to see in play? PM Randieh with suggestions!

time-skip sounds pretty interesting.

I dont have an issue with this!
My only problem is that Ill be away from the 16-18, all that weekend and then most of Monday.
Just want to make people aware so they know that I'll be gone, I dont really care about having to catch up with stuff.

I'm all for the new guild, as I said before. Sounds like a good way to get rid of inactive members, too - the ones who don't participate won't notice the move. xp
Time skip sounds great. Cuts out the messy part and makes it easier to enjoy yourself. ^^

Oh yeah, Ive been meaning to ask.
Where will the Weyrlings by up to, I know you say there about to graduate, but I cant remember what that'll be. Will they be flying, leaning to chew firestone?
Just some sort of idea would help!

Ex had it down that at six months, the dragons would be able to fly and would be preparing to flame. With the exception of Yokaith, I think you guys will be full-fledged, all bits functioning, but if anyone has a better idea of what is right, post it up.
