I think we should start including Birthdays (Name days? Is that what they're call on Pern?) in the character threads. Perhaps not exact dates, but seasons would be appropriate.
Because it's been two springs since the plague, so a character born in spring would already be another turn older since the plague, while a character born in winter would only be one turn older since the plague.
So if Favian, for example, had been born in Spring he'd be 10 turns old rather than his current 9 turns. Does that makes sense?
Otherwise all our characters gain a turn to their age a turnover, which doesn't make sense?
