Well then, why don't you make another character so you can do different quests like for the different houses? Or just try playing differently? *shrug*

That's what I do.

or go play oblivion.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Morrowind in its day. But after playing Oblivion (and wishing that there was some stuff like in morrowind), I have to say I just can't go back to morrowind when there's Oblivion's combat system to use, especially for a mage class.

TESIV's combat + Morrowind would be pwnage imo.

I can still play Morrowind, and I still get cravings to but can't (it doesn't work anymore crying ). I like Oblivion but something just doesn't cut it for me.

If Morrowind had Oblivion's physics and magic system and the graphics...I'd be like <3 totally. ^_^

I love the storyline for Morrowind a lot more than the storyline for Oblivion.
Plus, without all the expansions, the best armor and weapons you can get are crap. I was very disappointed with the main quests items, you got nothing of value. Where-as, for the main quest in Morrowind, you are rewarded greatly for saving the land.

Controversely, Oblivion is a lot more flexible on what you can do as well as the battle system is not retarded like it was in Morrowind. Plus, because of when it was made, the graphics are a LOT better and more realistic.

So really, they both have good things and bad things...but I would put storyline over fighting systems any day. That is what cheating is for afterall; can't stand how hard it is to fight - cheat until you're good enough!

...also, while it's nice that things level with you in Oblivion, I've never been the type of person that levels up how everyone else does, valueing stealth and such above everything else. So, by the time I would get to level fifteen, everything would be kicking my butt but I'm a great thief. So, I don't like that I have to turn the difficulty down or level differently than I like.

But I will always love Morrowind. That is the third game I got hooked on so, it will always be my third favorite game. ((Following Shinning Force (not the PlayStation one...that's stupid) and CastleVania: Symphony of the Night.))
