On October 1st, Snaksie passed away. Those of us who've been around here since the guild's early days knew him to be an amazing teacher who seemed to know the scriptures like the back of his hand. He will be greatly missed by many, but he's in a better place now. Some may say "May he rest in peace," but for those of us who knew him, we know he's working his tail-end off up there, doing whatever it is that our Heavenly Father would have him do.
If there's anyone who'd like to say anything about him, or tell of any memories or whatever, this can be the place to do it for those of us who won't be able to attend any memorial services.

He was a great teacher, always leading the discussions and always prepared. Without him the guild kinda stagnated as the meetings dropped. Now as we continue what we started, we should remember all the wisdom he left us.

Thanks a lot for that. You're right. We should do all that we can to get this thing moving again. Any ideas on your part as to what we should do to help that along? The way you got me here was because you posted in a forum about Mormons and talked about how we had our own guild. I got curious and joined it, and I'm so glad I did. KK, you paved the way for so many of my blessings, and I hope you know you changed my life forever. What may have started merely as ripples in the pond of eternity have become waves. Thank you so much for that.

Snaksie was an amazing person (and I know that he still is an amazing person in the spirit world) and when things just seemed to overwhelm me I would get a nice little message from him saying hi and it would just brighten my day to know that somebody else cared. I hope he knows that he has helped me alot and helped me to learn more from our gospel discussions. I will strive to keep up the gospel discussions and I hope that more people come to them and learn. I hope that we can continue what he started.

Puppy, you gave me the nicest feeling inside. I'll try to do better in coming to the meetings too and I'll do whatever I can to get this guild really kicking again!
