To add some perspective to this, Ibaraki is pretty much a countryside type area, and it's about an hour from inner city Tokyo. So for Ibaraki to have henshin hero is like Nowhereville, Idaho having it's own hero.
Anyway, there was one particular poster that was posted all over town. And because Japanese people frequently butcher the english language, this poster was quite a treat to see all around town:

The joke pretty much speaks for itself.
But yeah, he was legitimately pretty cool. He would appear at local events for children and the local news and stuff. He had a few sidekicks include this fat alternate universe version of himself called "Imoliger". Imo, for reference, means potato.
