MAKE THREADS! XD I want you all to talk! So i will start a conversation about how my trip went.
Welllllll... I went to tour colleges right, and I thought I had it all picked out where I wanted to go. I toured 4 colleges. 2 in Indiana and 2 in Kentucky, (I live in Kentucky). I toured Butler University, Indiana University Bloomington, University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University. My dream college that I had been planning to go to forever was Butler in Indianapolis. Its a private school. Well im going to be a music performance/music education double major so i got cello lessons from professors at three of the four colleges, right? Well I liked the one at Butler just like I hoped I would, but I also liked the one at UK (University of Kentucky). I met a lot of cool people everywhere, but Im afraid that college is going to come down to money. With Butler being a private school and it being out of state, it is $20,000 more a year than UK. Which is a lot of money. Its going to come down to scholarships probably. What do you guys think?

Actually, she can't. sad I lived in Washington, and moved to California and just used my dad's address. You have to be a REGISTERED RESIDENT. Which means that (in CA) you have to have proof that you have lived there for A YEAR AND ONE DAY. sad I was really upset that I didn't qualify for in state tuition. Once you're 18, you have to register to vote and get your driver's license to start your residency. They also reccommend that you keep any mail you get that first year as proof as well. It also doesn't hurt to get a magazine subscription.
Sorry, had to jump in. sad

=D yay. Yeah start taking the ACT/SAT now. Its very beneficial for scholarships. Im also a straight A student with lots of AP classes, and will be in the honors program in college as well. Be sure to check out my tutoring shop -The Gaian Learning Center- when the mall opens XD

Idk about SAT, cuz in KY we usually take ACT. But Im not very happy with it. Im not a good testtaker and only have a 28 on ACT. I mean that gets me decent scholarships and admittance to any school with that, but i realllly need a 31 for good scholarships.

hi hi hi! cannot advise you on your college thing b/c this is too important in your life !! what if you followed my advice and then killed yourself b/c you made a bad decision!! i am hoping for usc sad but i do not have much faith cus my grades are pretty shitty i cannot wait until your thing opens js !!! b/c i seriously hate hate hate calc and got no clue what's going on
2270 on SAT B)
2200 + for ivyleagues or insane UCs (harvard, ucla, etc) usually aim for at least 2000 for above average colleges ? (ucmichigan maybe???, usc ??, etc?) -- .. 1800ish usually ok as long as not ivyleagues ?? usually. psat is kinda similar but you knock off the last number on the SAT score wink
ok idk that is just my personal scale !!
