I happened upon a few very good artists that have the core Victorian style mixed with modern rock. Moi Dix Mois, Malice Mizer, and Kanon Wakeshima are Japanese artists that all have a relation to the composer Mana (Monsieur Mana may be a vampire, as he is somewhere in his forties or fifties but appears to be a teenager. This is an entertaining study, if you have the time.) Now I hear Emilie Autumn sounds somewhat similar to the former, but would anyone know of a band or artist that is closely akin to those artists? Simply put, does anyone know of a good Gothic Victorian Metal band? Ah, I love Moi Dix Mois. Unfortunately, I tend to loose interest about a minute into the song.

I actually am looking a few English speaking Neo-Baroque bands. Apparently, I haven't seen a single one that can speak English, and I am sure that it isn't possible, but if it is, I would like to know about it.

Thank you for the suggestions! I am actually looking for more Neoclassical Baroque music. Baroque is...how do I explain it any other way than organ music that sounds like it belongs in a vampire movie. Are there any bands that ARE NOT Japanese* and sound this way?
*Note: I have nothing against the Japanese, it is only that I would like to listen to more diverse vocals, preferably in English

Oops, I just realized I never responded to your pm! Ohohoh.
I don't have many "Steampunk" artists on my iTunes, but one song always reminds me of the fantastic nature of the subculture- Olympic Airways, by Foals.
Nothing at all like Neo-Baroque, I am sorry to say.
Baroque though! Like Vivaldi? Like BACH? I LOVE BACH FIJSA;FJSOJF

There's a fine example of mixing steampunk, opera and fantasy: Patrice Chéreau's 1976-80 Ring production. It's practically Norse Mythology transported into the Industrial Revolution with a lot of machines.

Ever hear of Rasputina? Though not an official video, this is one of their most amazing songs. You might also consider checking out Gilded Age Records, a music-label/musical community started (I think) by Vernian Process.

Emilie Autumn is my biggest obsession as of right now. Her Page.If you take one look at her, you can see why. She has just released a very large and rather intense semi-autobiographical book which mostly takes place in Victorian England. I would say she's not quite steampunk, but she is pretty close.
