Okay I am truly stuck on here. I have two character's who are level 100, Cloud and Zidane, I can't even beat WoL with either of them. Any suggestions? Could it be that I just suck that badly?

I suggested this to my friend a long time ago but I suggest a simple tactics of manipulating how 'strong AIs' attempt to dodge even the most improbable attack.

Level up your "Emperor" FF II Villain, use his first HP attack (the blue sphere thing) and just get that Ultimate HP attack the Emperor gets. It's a channeling spell in which the Emperor spins his staff/spear thing around and casts for a period of time, before an unavoidable attack hits the enemy.

The point of that strategy is quite simple. The Blue sphere HP attack is a homing attack that slowly floats towards the enemy. If you're playing in open space, that's your advantage. The Emperor can move as he casts if he 'jumped' before he did anything (So yeah, place that move on "aerial" set). The Blue sphere is seen as a threat (HP attack) by the AI, AI dodges over and over all the while flying towards you when it gets back to get to you while you channel-cast that spell. All you have to do is float and follow the blue sphere (You can keep up), and let the blue sphere hit the enemy because they tried to stop you, OR let that meteor kill them like crazy.

Same cycle again as you proceed. Best to keep the rings that boost your "HP" points. Place some nice BRV attack such as the lightning trap that sucks the enemy into place while it hurts them (zaps them multiple times) as you shoot a blue sphere. Bringing around a few mines also help in keeping yourself safe from your enemies.

This tactics is a matter of if you're high leveled with the character, as well as how well you're equipped with him (rings/the real equipments). And of course, how much you know about the character.

Check your equipment. I beat it with Cloud, so I know it can be done. And I didn't have much of a strategy then either. xD

Simply make you equipment the best it can be, and have accessories that give you the best out come. I loke going for power and EX Absorption. With Abilities that make me get stronger when I get weaker. Like, Archy + Physical & Magic Shield.

Indeed a great idea by itself. Being a gamer and just playing it full out with skills/whatever you have learned over the time is also great. razz My guide has no real specific name(s) because I have the Japanese version, and I don't really want to start over again in the English version to get the levels up razz .

Enzunidam - So many mechanics got changed in the transition from the Japanese version to the English version, I'm not even sure if the same strategies even work. Squall being the biggest change. In the English version, he is clearly one of the top character, but, in the Japanese version he's not. So, no offense, but I think people who got the Japanese version Imported before the English release got the short end of the stick.

However, if patterns serve, the Japanese are going to get another version of Dissidia that has even more awesome stuff in it than the English. They did that with Kingdom Hearts and other FF games, after all. xp

Forsaken - Back to the topic at hand, I found a tactic that helped me fight Chaos. It was set up with a Pheonix Down that allowed me to have a massive amount of power when I was at my weakest. Not sure if you're more Defensive or Offensive style of playing, but the best thing to do is to find out what your strengths and weaknesses are and work with that.

Ah no worries I take no offense razz . I suspected there would be some changes (well not really but still) for the English version. Squall is a top character? Hmmm interesting, the Japanese Squall isn't that bad either but he seemed a bit 'flat' for a dynamic character with an awesome sword lol.~

Hopefully they add more attacks/variety for each character, mainly the bad guys (Because bad guys rock).

They did so much I can't think of them all, but they gave a lot of people more moves. They gave Sephiroth a new HP attack. Not sure if Squall had Revolver Drive in the Japanese version, but he has a Rough Dive for both Ground and Air. I know for a fact that almost all of the Exslucive items were giving a different effect than the Japanese version.

You'd have to look on finalfantasy.wiki.com for all the changes.
