The recent sightings, only during a full moon. People have spotted what appears to be a rather large asteroid that hovers along or near the surface of the moon. Moving at it's own speed through space. It has caused no damage, nor any provative actions to attack.

Only the X-Men know what this hovering asteroid is. And what it has been capable in doing, in the past. The rock floats throughout space, having been reconstructed yet again. For what is it's purpose? Only time will tell.

============

Asteroid M has been destroyed and reconstructed by the Master of Magnetism many times since it was first introduced. Each iteration has had several internal levels, including an observation deck, hangar bays and medical facilities. The various facilities have had technology that keep the asteroid concealed from standard detection technology. They have all been positioned in a low geosynchronous orbit. Each asteroid was relatively small yet large enough that it could not be shot down, or destroyed externally, without the risk of massive devastation to Earth.

After Rogue comes to realize she can't fly through the atmosphere without freezing to death or dying of suffocation, she flies back down towards the mansion. Activating the bay doors towards the jet hanger buried under the mansion's grounds.

She was going to take the mini-jet up into space, only to realize it was missing. Probably what Jean and Scott took for their honeymoon. She thought. Glancing down at her hand were her wedding band would be. It was gone. She thought she was imagining things, but it wasn't there. She even removed her gloves thinking it might be there.

You could see the indention where the ring had been all this time, along her finger. Still upset, this just made it even worse. She didn't have time to look for it. Heading straight for the Blackbird, she walked up the ramp, closing the ramp behind her as she immediately headed towards the cockpit. Stopping along the way to make sure they had a moon suit to climb into.

She needed to speak with Magneto. She had no clue that he had remained her since the wedding. She didn't care. He wasn't her man to be watching anyhow. Remembering something hovering in front of the moon the other night. Realizing it was his ship from high above. She didn't know if he'd be there or not. She didn't care. She actually felt like tearing that place to hell, just because she was so angry.

No one was talking to her. She tried talking to several of Gambit's thieves down in New Orleans. Only to find they didn't talk. So she tried to rough house, several of the thieves inside Gambit's guild, just to make them talk. One of them spouted out Apocalypse. Which she damn near knocked out his teeth for.

She knew that this issue either had to do with Scarlet Witch's disappearing act, and this is how Apocalypse gets back at her family. By making her man disappear. Or perhaps, Magneto had a hand in this, by permanently making Gambit disappear. Just the thoughts flying through her mind, made her angrier with the passing minutes.

Locating the moon suits, she made her way up to the cockpit. Hitting the control buttons and dials, as she powered up the jet. Placing on her seat belt, she moved the joystick forwards, as the jet started to roll into gear. She flicked on a few buttons as the platform holding the jet rose up to the ground level. The engines fired off twice in a row, as she powered up the jet, readying for it to take off as soon as the platform came to a resting point.

The sounds of locks, detached away from the jet's wheels, as she reeved up the engine some more, the jet immediately started to hover above the ground, as the wheels tucked under it's body. Raising up high above the ground, the dust blew everything around in the court yard.

Rogue didn't bother looking back as the jet went into gear, as she shot up high into the air. Continuing with her programing, she set the computer for a course straight towards Asteroid M.

Magneto made it outside, as the dust had already started to settle along the ground. The winds were still tossing up debrie and dirt into the air. Once the dust settled, he could see what appeared to be a rocket? Glancing down along the metallic ground near by. No... not a rocket.

There were no missile silos at the X-Mansion. At least not to Magneto's experience in the past. He stared at the ground, where the metallic doors slid together, before being covered up in a hologram of grass.

" ! " It suddenly dawned on him then, that it was the X-Jet! The Blackbird! He wasn't a telepath. But he was putting two and two together. Someone. No not just someone, it was Rogue. He removed the wedding band from his pocket that he had found earlier in Rogue's destroyed room.

What was this purpose for her to fly to the moon? " ! " Remembering the promise he made to Gambit, he went back inside the mansion for only a moment.

Magneto returned outside the mansion where the jet had taken off just a few minutes ago. For some odd reason, he felt like Superman. Since he changed out of his everyday attire, into something that could handle the fierce coldness of space.

A magnetic shield formed along his body, as he raised up into the air. Only hovering to what appeared to be a few feet. Pressing some sort of device on his arm, his whole body seemed to shatter into small pieces of lighted information. A blue, almost purple swirl of light, enveloped his entire body as he was shot up from the origin he was hovering in, straight up into space.

Only a sparkling star along the night time horizon could be seen, as to his current whereabouts. Just WHERE did Magneto get that type of technology? Only time would tell....

As the sonic boom could be heard along the atmosphere, she began to feel her clothes floating in the weightless environment around her. Unbuckling her seat belt, she hovered up and out of the cockpit to another set of controls. Swimming through the weightless environment, she couldn't help but stop long enough to look out the windows of the Blackbird, to stare down at Earth.

The last time the X-Men had been in outer space, was when the Phoenix saga took place. Seems like that was only yesterday, in the back of Rogue's mind. Staring along the surface of the planet, she moved away from the window, over towards the closet of space walking gear.

Her mind was still in a whirl wind of everything that had been taking place. At least this was a place whereas she could actually think straight. She knew if she tried punching holes in this place, she'd end up dead. So no loosing the temper in here. A timer went off, as an electronic voice came over the comm, "T minus ten minutes until exact location, programmed, Rogue."

Rogue smirked slightly, as she fiddled with the straps along the suit, readying herself to place on the equipment. Tying her long auburn and white hair, back into a pony tail, she slid off half of her X-Men uniform, somehow getting it to hang up in the closet. Stepping in both of the legs of the space suit, as well as slipping her arms in place. Zipping the suit up, along with snapping all of the belts together. She floated up towards the window, as she felt the jet rolling on it's back, as it was gaining speed towards the Asteroid.

Rogue pushed away from the window, as she punched in codes and orders of all sorts into the computer. To help slow down the final approach of the jet towards Asteroid M. So the jet wouldn't become a permanent icon to the floating rock.

She still had some time, as she manuevered through the air. Doing a somersault or two as she made her way back towards the space pack and helmet. Slipping and buckling on her space boots, she finally had a chance to place on her life support pack. Starting up the program, calculating the exact amount of air she'd need once, she made contact with the surface of the rock, floating in space.

The timer went off, in several ringing buzzers. She could also hear the silent computer beeps and blips going off in the background. Little did she realize, the computer was documenting her time being spent in space, and contacting the X-Men located on the ground of her whereabouts.

Setting the helmet on top of her head, she felt the hissing of air slipping into the helmet providing oxygen for her to breathe. Sealing the helmet, she reached over with her space gloves, to type in some sort of a command for the door. Attaching on a zip line cable along her waist, so she didn't loose track of her distance away from the jet, she prepared herself for the final count down for the door to open.

To allow Rogue to space walk towards, Asteroid M.

Magneto appeared in a blinding light, inside Asteroid M. His eyes were still shut, as the blinding light around him, re-materialized every inch of his body. When he reopened his eyes, he could tell that he was inside his ship. Releasing the magnetic shield around his body, breathing in the stale air around him.

The graviton field still was not activated, as Erik hovered in the air with his powers. Reactivating everything inside the ship. A fresh flow of air, came into the room, where he was, along with the flickering of lights. He only powered up the garden room, where a waterfall could be seen, pouring fresh water, down several rocks leading to a giant pool. The ceiling was nothing but solid glass, surrounding the garden area. The stars and the light from the planet below, emitted an errie space like glow, that gave life to the room. The eco friendly air, filled the entire room with life. The plants, that seemed to be brown, were only dormant, not dead.

The greenary, started to peel back it's leaves of brown, revealing beautiful space like flowers and plants throughout the green flooring. As the room began to become filled with life once again, he could feel the other portions of the ship, starting to come to life. Mainly because of his return. That was pretty much the only time, the ship came alive.

His other home, Erik thought. Sighing deeply as he stared endlessly out into space. A place he really didn't want to rebuild but he did anyways. There was always reasoning behind his actions.

Removing his helmet, setting it down along some bolders at his side, he made his way down towards the water, flowing evenly along the black river stone rock walkway. Waiting for her arrival. He already could see the jet hovering in space. A lighted hologram was showing him that much.

Of all times. Of all places. Why was she coming here? What was the hurry? The rush? Surely there was a reason behind this visit. Erik only knew, what he had promised. And had dropped everything he had been doing at the mansion, to come here and talk to Rogue. To stop whatever plan she had made.

Making impact with the gigantic floating rock, she made her way to an airlock. Which she managed to break the code to get the door to open, allowing her access inside the ship. This seemed a little too easy, Rogue thought as she slipped up through the hole, finding herself in a room that was completely black.

Turning on the head lamps along her helmet she still couldn't see a whole lot in the room. The airlock door, slid shut, sealing off the air beneath her. Severing her cable that had been keeping her attached to the X-Jet.

"Dammit!" She swore under her breath, seeing the cable had literally been sliced in half. She was still weightless as she hovered in the air, swimming her arms and legs around so that she could get her bearings on just where about she was located.

A red light seemed to blip every now and then, across from where she was. Managing somehow to make her way over towards a bar of some sort. As soon as she made contact with it. The whole room lit up, the light blinding her, since she basically activated a light beam. Shrieking just out of startlement, the gravitation in the room, became more noticible. Lucky for her, she still had her ability to fly, so she didn't just drop to the floor like a rock. Moving away from the blinding light, she found a metallic ladder, clinging to it for a moment, to see just where she was.

Glancing up, she saw a ceiling maybe fifteen feet away from where she was, diverting her attention, downwards. She started to thank her lucky stars, that she still had the ability to fly. Because it looked more than a fifty foot drop down to the ground.

Lowering her body down towards the ground, her graviton boots activated for some reason, snapping her feet to the floor, because of the metal. Her suit was beeping towards her, informing her that the air was breatheable. She didn't trust it for some reason, as she managed to make her way down the corridor the only lit portion of the ship, that she could tell thus far.

Making her way around the corner, she felt something brush past her, which she spun around on her feet to greet whatever it was with her fists. A flying animal with wings, took to flight across the room. How odd. Something able to breathe in this atmosphere and fly? Wait a minute... she recalled what the suit had told her earlier, realizing she wasn't outside in space anymore, she was now inside.

This just went to show you, that she was distracted by a lot of things going on in her mind. Rounding the corner, of the hallway, she came into a room, that had a rather large spherical shape to it. The sound of water, flowing down some rocks is what really caught her attention.

Especially the man who was standing over the flowing water. "Magneto!" Rogue shouted through the helmet, forgetting to turn on the speaker. She mainly heard herself shout inside her helmet. And not to him.

Finally deciding to remove her helmet, she called out to him, yet again. "Magneto!" But her voice was muffled from the sounds of the water flowing in the room.

Magneto heard something in the background. Turning to see who it was, as he waved away the holographic image in the air beside him. Standing only a few feet away from where Rogue now stood.

Part of him was actually pleased to see Rogue. Seeing her here on his ship, however, was not pleasant. Recalling the past history, of the X-Men being on his ship, was not always a friendly house call.

His long white hair being tossed up into the air, due to some light wind pattern flowing throughout the room. His blue eyes stared endlessly over towards Rogue. "Rogue...." he stated in a bland tone.

Rogue's hands balled into fists, as they trembled. Just the man saying her name, was enough to jump start her. She was still angry. She was extremely angry that no one would help her! That no one seemed to know or care as to where Remy had gone off too. She had left her family to seek out Gambit's whereabouts.

Readers digest history....

After hearing of the sudden death of Scarlet Witch, Rogue knew that her husband Remy LeBeau, was up sh.it creek without a paddle to help him out. Why does this have anything to do with Gambit? Possibly because, at one time, long ago. Gambit made a decision to become one of Scarlet Witch's body guards. Her right hand man, to help aid her, in any time she got into something she could not get out of.

This was before Scarlet Witch got married to Apocalypse. Then when she did get married to the worst of all bad guys. Gambit was still her right hand man. And for Gambit not being there when she was assassinated, this only made matters worse.

And because of this, Apocalypse made a violatile threat to go after Gambit.
For Wanda to be murdered, and no body guard present during this. Gambit was held responsible. Little did Apocalypse realize, that Scarlet had been brought back to life by mere accident, his intentions were still to make Gambit pay for not protecting his side of the family.

Rogue found out that Scarlet Witch was alive, and not dead after all. Knowing this knowledge, she thought about it, and considered going to see Apocalypse. To strike a deal with him. Her life for the life of her husbands.

Fully knowing the history behind Apocalypse and his promises that he actually kept. There was always a price to be made, for such instances. So she decided that would probably not be the wisest of ideas to go through with.

Instead of approaching Apocalypse, she traded the idea that she would leave the X-Men for the time being. To seek out her husband. No matter what the cost. Leaving their only son, in the hands of her mother, Mystique.

Now back with the present time frame of events unfolding....

Without warning, Rogue took to flight, tackling Magneto in the process. Carrying him quite a bit away from the water, slamming his body into one of the metallic walls inside the room. She started to hammer him with punches to his chest, the majority of the hits were missing him as she slammed her fists into the wall behind him.

She wanted to hit something. She wanted to hit it hard. She wanted to kill! She was crying as she was blind sided with this rage. The punches kept flying, as her gloves got all scuffed up from the strength behind her punches. Her white space gloves started to turn red, from the blood inside, seeping out through the material, as she continued to hit.
PostPosted: Thu Oct 08, 2009 9:33 pm

Magneto was caught by surprise when Rogue rammed into him. Thusly slamming the two of them into a metallic wall. He expected her to do something like that, but to hit him? Part of him glared at her for doing so. Only to realize they weren't really hits to inflict pain. She was already inflicted with some sort of pain.

When Erik came to realize she was pounding the wall hard, behind them, he tried to stop her physically. Especially when he saw the blood forming through her gloves. "Rogue! Enough! ENOUGH!" He started off calmly, before shouting at her. By grabbing onto her flailing arms, he figured she'd knee him next.

Trying to desperately calm her down, "Rogue, you're hurting yourself. If you want to hit something, hit me! Not the wall! Please, I'm begging you, don't do this!" Erik pleading? Yeah, that's something to be placed in the book later. He could tell she was struggling and fighting with something. Wanting to fix whatever it was. Only if she'd tell him what it was. Something so horrible, that she flew the blackbird all the way into space, to ram him into a wall.

Surely that wasn't the case. "Rogue." He kept saying in a calming voice, "Rogue, talk to me... why ... why are you here? Other than to punch holes in my wall?" He tried to make a joke, but it didn't work. It pained him to see Rogue in this fit of rage.

Even with Erik holding onto her arms, she still attempted to hit at him and the wall. She didn't care that she was bleeding, she didn't care that she was hurting. She just wanted Remy. She wanted her husband. She was tired of trying to hold up the world on her shoulders. Being the strong person for everyone else.

Trying to raise Oli on her own, trying to make sure he's safe and not getting hurt or into trouble. It's hard being a stay at home mom, with hardly any help. Sure she gets some help from her mother, whenever she can get ahold of her. But for Remy to just drop off the face of the planet, and knowing that Apocalypse is behind the jest of all of it.

Has just placed a huge amount of stress upon her shoulders. She's cracked. She just can't fight it anymore. She wants to hit something, hit it hard. Let the world know that she just isn't strong enough anymore to handle it all. She can only take so much.

Pounding her hands weakly against Magneto's chest, as she sobbed. She didn't care anymore. She didn't care if she died tomorrow. That's how broken she was. sad

She wasn't fighting Magneto anymore, she just slumped against him, bawling her eyes out, as she tried to hang on to what humanity she had left inside of her.
PostPosted: Thu Oct 08, 2009 10:05 pm

" . . . . . "

Erik remained speechless, letting Rogue do whatever she wanted to him. He wasn't going to break the promise. He did frown on the fact that he didn't know nor completely understand as to why she was acting like this.

He didn't even question her actions. Feeling her slumping against his body, he sighed. Releasing his grip along her arms, removing her gloves from her hands, seeing how badly they were injured. More bruises and knuckles being busted open from the strikes she performed along the metal.

Lightly touching her injured knuckles, he reached down, ripping his cape, to bandage up her hands for the time being. He'd doctor them up correctly here in a little while. He knew, Rogue probably just wanted to cry for the time being. Sinking down along the ground with her, he just held Rogue in his arms. Feeling her whole body trembling. The sobbing she was doing, was breaking his heart.

Erik loved her. Seeing her with another man, tore him apart. This other man being Gambit. A thief, who's been known in the past to steal women's hearts, use them for what they're worth, then discard them when he was finished. This angered Magneto.

Hearing Gambit speaking in his mind, while he sat there with Rogue in his arms. Recalling every word, spoken between the two of them. Erik just released a deep sigh, as he stared endlessly out into space, across the way. While holding Rogue against his chest, allowing her all the time in the world, to explain what's bothering her. What exactly is on her mind. Hoping he can fix it. Knowing he'd do anything to take away her suffering. For now, he sat content, with Rogue resting against him for the time being.

Bishop looked up at the sky,he saw " Asteroid M " in the sky he knew magneto was behind this.

He noticed someone had left with the black bird,"How can i get into space "
Bishop thought.

Bishop then realized he still had his space suit from the " Shi'ar Empire "
from when he crashed into outer space.

He Ran upstairs to his room,he moved through his clothing until he found his suit.

The suit came with a jetpack ,and a oxygen tank

All he need now was to fly into the atmosphere and head towards the asteroid.
PostPosted: Fri Oct 09, 2009 4:22 am

Bishop was in his room he turned on his jetpack and , busted through the room window making a loud crash.

Bishop soared through the sky moving like a speed bullet. He was heading towards the asteroid in outer space.

He finally flew into space, it was cold but his seat could keep him warm. He flipped on the jets in to overdrive.

He was now approaching the asteroid.

He noticed the black bird had landed he then , flew over to it and opened the boarding bay.

He walked up the boarding bay to find, not a soul in site. Bishop left the black bird and head towards what looked like rogue.
