The Professor had been rather puzzled by the disappearances of his some of his students. He rubbed his chin and he began to ponder what could have happen to him. His personal desk computer chimed as he turned his head toward the noise. "On screen." The computer showed him the log of the blackbird. "This doesn't make any sense." When did Rogue leave? Why Asteroid M? Could his old friend Erik be the one kidnapping mutants. He would see if his like to Rogue was still open.

He touched the side of his temple to reach her. "Rogue, this is Charles. Is something wrong? Something that you couldn't trust your own mutant brothers and sisters with? Tell me, Child. What has made you act like this?"

He looked out the window and waited for her response. He sighed. What has happening to the X-Men. They were nothing like they were when he created them. These lacked discipline. All of the sudden Rogue's message came in like a huge scream in his mind.

Rogue's mind was in a mess. She was extremely upset with whatever situation her husband was involved with. ~P....Professor??~ Rogue responded, as she was inside of Asteroid M currently. She was dreaming when she heard the Professor reaching out to her. She was fighting nightmares in her mind, unsure of what was real or not. Hoping that while in her dreams she was speaking to the Professor and not some demons, that were haunting her.
~P..Professor.... muah husband... Gambit is in serious, trouble. Remy has been involved with Scarlet Witch n' Apocalypse. ...Ah. Ah've been all ova de globe lookin' fer him. Ah'm afrai....afraid dat Apocalypse may 'ave killed him. Apocalypse made threats sayin' dat it wuz all o' Gambit's fault fer abandonin' his wife. T'at Gambit, wuz de fault o' Apocalypse wife's death! Fer not bein' dere to protect 'er.~
~Ah.... ah've done eva thin' in muah powah ta find him. Even went to de ends o' de Earth, lookin' fer him. Dis wuz in de process o' happenin' b'fer Scott started de school back up. Ah'm so confused... is dis real? Or am ah still stuck n' dis demented dream world?~
~Ah don't know what's real or not anymore... de X-Men. Here, den gone, yet again. No trust between anyone... anymore. It feels like whut it did when ah joined up wit' de X-Men in de beginnin'.... broken pieces o' de puzzle!~
~Ah came ta see Er....Magneto 'cause he wuz supposidly de last person ta see Remy. Ah 'ave ta know... even if it kills muah to git to de bottom o' dis. Magneto.... has somethin' ta do wit' it, ah'm shore of. Or he has ta, at least know whare ah can find, Remy.~
While speaking with the Professor in her mind, she felt the darkness overwhelming her yet again. Struggling both in reality as well as the dreamland. She broke off the communication with the professor as she started to battle whatever was attacking her physically. Feeling each blow striking her down. As if her punches didn't even make a mark on the beasts locked within her mind.
Her link with the Professor was not severed. She just stopped communicating with him.
Rogue woke up with a scream, covered in sweat that was dripping down her face. Feeling as though she was still in the nightmare. Her bearings were off balance as she rose to her feet, readying to strike her next opponent. Forgetting where she was currently.

He wanted to help her, but it would require him to go to the place he dreaded, Asteroid M. Would he tell his X-Men? After thinking about the way they have been behaving as of late, Charles thought 'No.' He keyed in some coordinated and made his way to the hanger to save his X-Man, Rogue. He would deal with Erik if needed, but as of late he hadn't felt the threat from his old friend. He started to make his way.
