Need to vent out your frustration about an ex? Discuss your ex-related frustrastions here. Just...don't spend the entire post saying only bad words about them.
Am expanding this thread to a general rant/b***h/vent/etc. thread. Afterall, it isn't just exes that piss us off right?

...Whoa. That's some seriously unwarranted generosity.
I had an ex who IMed me regularly after I broke up with him, but not to talk casually. Oh, no. This guy wanted to lay down wistful, creepy monologues about how wonderful it had been to be with me and how he still loved me, and [further extra-creepy stuff omitted].
Thing was, he was already dating someone else at this time. gonk That was one of those "Daaamn, I dodged a bullet" moments.

What a sleezeball.
You know...I feel bad at times for lumping all men in the same (negative) category...but at the same time I can't ignore the MANY examples I've seen, heard, and witnessed over the years.

I treasure my male friends. But my female friends have never made scary, unwanted sexual comments toward me, so I'm inevitably going to be more comfortable around them. Also having a dude get mad at you when you try to explain why what he just said is not cool is never fun.
One of my male friends greeted me the other day by saying he was just wondering what he'd have to do to make me act violent (I'm a pretty low-key person IRL, most of the time). The first thing he mentioned was sexual assault. gonk I love talking to these guys but I can't escape threatening conversation like this. It always shocks me, because I'm a pretty trusting person and assume dudes to be "Good Guys" until proven otherwise. Many of them do so with alarming alacrity.
But this isn't about exes anymore. And I feel like it's verging on sexism. Maybe my friends just lack manners. xD

You know what I hate?
People in military uniform drinking at a bar. Now, granted I could be blind and see that their drink is actually just a regular soda...but I think I know the look of beer when I see it. How absolutely disrespectful.
