Does anyone think there could be a real market for steam punk fashion, in the way of an IRL clothing store? I mean goths and vampire wannabes have hot topic and god knows there are pleanty of stores for skater kids and preps. But is the steam punk culture large enough to support a real store for that market?
I wanted other people's advice.

I think a steampunk store would be really cool! At the moment, I'm still trying to find or make some steampunkish goggles. I don't know if the are enough steampunk fans to fill the needs for a store, though.

Such store would be great, but I don't think it would work. Money rules everything, you know. But if it were to be in the USA, in one of big cities - maybe, maybe. But it would be unfair to people from other countries/continents D:
(I'm still crying over the Hot Topic ;<)

There is a Steampunk Store... Its in LA and its called the Congregation of Forgotten Saints. Its Steampunk/Gothicish. Expensive as hell, but they have the best things. They carry several Steampunk brands, in addition to Lip Service's Blacklist. <3

you may be young, but good goths do not wear Hot Topic. Neither do punks. The steampunk look is not a new fad. Remember in the video closer (NIN) he is wearing nice goggles.
The concept is sound. It works. Just so you know. People will buy things.
