Nutmeg
Myristica fragrans

Family:Myristicaceae
Folk Names: Qoust
Planetary association: Jupiter
Elemental association: fire
Keywords: luck, money, health, fidelity, comfort, clairvoyance
Specific uses:
Divining incense
Strung on a necklace with star anise and tonka beans makes a potent charm
Along a a necklace for good luck
Ground nutmeg can be sprinkled into a wallet for attracting money
Cut into four equal pieces it can be used for a fidelity spell. (Use caution when cutting this herb, it has internal liquids that are caustic to the skin and mildly poisonous, so wear protective gloves and make sure small children and animals are not going to get into them.)
The first piece should be buried in the earth. The second should be taken to a cliff or other high place that is clear of human traffic and through it off the cliff into the air.
The third is to be burned
The fourth is to be boiled in water. After boiling for 3 minutes take it out and carry this piece with you wherever you go, and sleep with it under your pillow to keep your partner faithful.
(the original version of this spell calls for taking one drink of the water, however as I stated above that the liquids and oils in it are caustic and can make you ill I will not endorse it)
My experience:
I have often used nutmeg in luck spells. I place a whole nutmeg into a green bag that I have marked with the symbol for Jupiter, Fehu (the rune for luck from the Elder Futhark) and a four leaf clover (cause I suck at drawing leprechauns)
