Ok I checked and haven't seen something similar to my theory so here goes.
Rereading the holiday comics I noticed something. It seems that Jack and Santa's friendship was already strained before the event with the destruction of the link list occured. What if something happened to them that made them grew apart?
Then I began to think, what if Mrs Claus is the reason that Jack and Santa are drifting so far apart? It would seem to make sense, Mrs Claus would want Santa to associate with Jack less and less and spend more time with her. What if Santa actually wanted to set things straight with Jack but was forced into provoking Jack into a fight by Mrs Claus? It would give Mrs Claus an excuse to start S Corp and wage an all out war against Jack. What if during the Halloween Event that Mysterious figure picking up the vial was indeed an elf?
Then I read the latest story update and noticed when Santa and Jack mused about the good ol days, when they were best friends. It made me think even more that this bad blood had to have started with something, and maybe that something was Mrs Claus. I think Mrs Claus definately needs to be carefully monitored, we may see more of her and possibly a darker side to her
Not to sure if my theory holds any ground or not but discuss it anyway and let me know what you people think of it
