Hooray! Ideas have come in!
Costume contest Theme Avatar Guild Ad
Any more ideas?Original Post Alright, HHG members! We have a dilemma!
The guild is dying.
Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but this is a bright point in my day to come and talk to other like-minded individuals about serious and playful topics alike. So how about suggestions on how to get this place revved back up! Active members- anyone who posts regularly- please post in here! I'd like to know how many people even check out this guild anymore.
Lets find a way to save our guild!

I DO check out the guild and see what's up...quite often actually, but sadly I have little to say since I'm more a "student" here than I am a "teacher"...Eh....well....there IS Christams coming up and that could be both bad...or good...we can all have a forum talking about what herbs grow best in the winter...what uses they'r good for...what herbs a good for those "cozy days" of a good book and some tea, etc.....or heh...we could have a avi contest and see who could be best dressed as an earthy/elf/herb loving avi-or however you'd describe it. sweatdrop ...honestly i'm really not sure what to do.

Sorry for my inactiveness lately. I've been too busy with finishing this semester and then dealing withe everything in my own guild. I've hardly had a chance to come by. >.o
I do love this guild and wouldn't want to see anything happen to it. Under my guild's affliation section, the HHG is already listed and linked. That announcement is supposed to be reviewed by all guild members, so I hope it helps this guild out some.
Also, have ads been placed in the Registered Guilds forum or chatterbox? A well worded ad combined with a thread that's actively posted/bumped in, can help bring the new members needed. 3nodding

There is actually a Registered Guilds Advertisement forum...perhaps getting some people in there.
I think that once the holiday season calms down things may get up and coming again.
Hrm....maybe a contest? I don't know...

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I recently found out that I have an old fracture in my hip, with a chip out of it. For some reason, this has recently been causing me some serious pain. I can't sit or stand for long periods of time. Thanks to physical therapy, the pain is almost completely gone. I have been spending a lot of time re-learning how to do normal activities (like washing the dishes).
Hopefully, with the healing process almost over, I should be able to spend more time at the computer, and be able to post more often.

I understand that real life takes up time and it's totally ok.
Does anyone have any ideas on ways to bring in more members?
So far we have:
Contests (Best avatar, theme avatars, ect) Guilds Ad Thread
Koi: Yes, that'd be wonderful, go for it. ^_^ I've tried, but I'm not so good at it and you did it incredible for the Dojo. ^_^

Alright, first things first, what are the main reasons someone would want to join a guild like this? Who is this guild meant for? And what possible circumstances would herbal healing be needed?

All the information you'd need is listed in the Guild-Thread in the Guilds forum. ^_^ The first page says it all. *nods*

*smiles* well..I am new here..but I can tell you why *I* wanted to join...I have a Healers Hall and am very much interested in Holistic Medicines....Herbs are a very big part of Holistic Medicines..and I was hoping to be able to to talk to others that had similar interests..as I am always learning things... smile
I think Advertising the Guild would be the best way to get new members.... smile that is just me though... wink heart
