Due November 20th
Tea leaves have been read by people known as Seers to claim to have the 'Inner Eye'-- a name used to describe psychic ability. The official name for a psychic reading from someone's tea leaves is called 'Tasseography'.

What you will do:
- Pretend you have a cup of tea and some tea leaves have been put in it.
- Pretend you have drunk some of it and what's mainly left it there are some tea leaves.
- (still pretending) Swirl the leaves around three times clockwise
- Type out what you "see" (pretty much just type out random shapes or symbols)
- After you post that, I post what it means.

It shouldn't be so hard to do. A demonstration will be in the fourth post (since people have said the way I phrased it sounded a little hard)

Shapes & Symbols:
Acorn
Club
Cross
Falcon
the Grim (looks a lot like a black dog)
Skull
Sun

***this is a link to the meanings of each. so if you want you can be the brainiac of the class or claim to possess the Inner Eye***

((I'm sorry, what are we exactly suppose to do.))

Quote:
Sorry I didn't make this really clear-- I was in a hurry when I posted the lesson.

1. Check out the link I have in the first post
2. Type between 2-3 figures that you find in the link *cough cough* journal entry *cough cough*
3. And like it says, if you feel like making up something completely, PM me and we can have fun by making it like some weird prophecy-thing (ex. If a bucket isn't on the list and you pretend to have one, we can have fun and say that you have to kill someone or you'll "kick the bucket")
4. Then, if you do the lesson, I award your house with five points.

Does that help?

Lesson is now edited.

Professor Fred takes out a cup of tea with a few tea leaves sprinkled inside it. She takes a sip of most of it, leaving behind the leaves and a little trickle of the tea. She grabs a spoon and swirls the contents in the cup exactly three times clockwise. She peeks at the cup and sees two shapes inside it: a sun and a cross.
"Let's see here... this is odd. I'm going to suffer but I'm going to be very happy about it."

((Now its your turn, students... well, if you understand now.))

((Ok that makes it better thanks.))

Alice drank some of his tea as the teacher had shown and than examend what was left.
"A skull and a club." Alice muttered. He took out his book. "So There is I'm going to be caught in danerous fights or danger that leads to fights." he muttered to himself.

Sam did as the teacher did and looked at the remains. He noticed a falcon and a skull and gasped. "I rather not say what mine means." he muttered. Even though he very well knew.

Kurt looked at his cup and glanced at the pictures at the bottom. A skull and a sun. "So Danger is ahead but once it's over come I'll be extremely happy." Kurt said hopinghe was right.

Raven did as the teacher said and found at the bottom of his cup a club and a sun. This he figured infered to the fact that he would have to fight for his happiness.

Randy was sitting in a group of ravenclaws when he finally had a break through and understood the diestructions. He did as the teacher did and looked into his cup. He noticed the grim and the sun. He rose his hand. "This can't possibly make sense. I'm gonna die but be happy about it." he said with a confused look on his face.

Professor Fred walked around the class to check on everyone's progress. She glanced down at Randy's and gasped. "That can't possibly be right. Wait a minute," she said, then glanced through a book of hers ((its my journal entry I gave you the link to)). "What it means, Randy, is... while you are experiencing such great happiness, I don't know what you could possibly be doing to be so happy but, you will die shortly after. Or at least, that's what my prediction is. I've never seen that happen before."
She left Randy with a hopeful look on her face that he might not die, and continued to look at everyone's cups. When she finished glancing at everyone's cups, she could only think of one conclusion. "Well, it seems like I've got one unlucky class, according to the tea leaves. Alice will be in a dangerous fight, Sam is going to be attacked by a deadly enemy, Kurt is going to be in danger but have a grin on his face, so to speak, Raven is going to fight but be very happy about it, and Randy is going to die from happiness. At least, that's what your tea leaves tell us. Oh well, 5 points to Gryffindor and 20 to Ravenclaw."
