A young king, probably 16, had became king just a year ago and he felt no emotion
Until a woman slave came and he instantly fell in love with her.
For 5 years they kept their love a secret. until the kings jealous older brother saw them together
He spread news of the mix-class-love and people were enraged.
The poor prince had to put his lover behind bars by force from the law makers......
After the vote of the citezens, the King was dethrowned and his brother took his place. For many months, the woman stayed in the jail and prayed for her love to come rescue her.
Once a week he would bring her food and tell her that it would be ok and he loved her.
For the rest of the week he tried to talk to the advisers and his brother to let her go and he would not be a prince.
Both parties denied it....
After the 10th visit to his lover, the banned king heard his lover this,
"I have no more hope. I hear what happens up there. Face it love, I'm never getting out of here..."
But the king didn't give up hope. He remembered a legend of a mystic oasis that can grant any wish at the right price.
He traveled miles and miles to search for this magical place.
After three months of searching, He found the oasis and a beautiful woman with long black hair and moon colored skin.
"Excuse me Ms." he adressed her. "I have searched for this-" "This magical place so I could ask if I could have a wish." The woman interupted. "Now what do you want? Money? Health? Youth?"
In response, the king said, "For my love to be free from the cell that my retched brother put he in and make me have power to protect her."
The woman smiled. "Alright then. I will grant your wish."
"But..." the woman warned. "your price will be heavy. You will have to make sure your love is true, or you will no longer exict in this world and you will never see your love again. Do you still want your wish?" The king swallowed but answered, "I will take any cost. Even my life."
The woman smiled. "Very well..." The king went into the air and was given power to free his loved one. "Good luck noble king. Happy Days to you." The woman bowed gracefully. The king smiled and grew angelic wing and flew to his love.
Back at the castle, one of the advisers told the kings brother this and together formed a plan.The brother went to the girl and told her that if she dosen't marry him that he would kill her lover. The girl did not know about the kings powers at the time so she said yes.
By the time the king got to the castle, it was to late. The girl now was married to the king's brother and the girl seemed to love the brother back.
In despair, the king fought his brother to the death. In the end of the battle, the king of course won but his heart never healed.
So the king flew off to the oasis in tears as he told the woman the tale. The woman took pity on him so she made a deal. "If I give your love a child and give your power up for that child, I will let you stay here and protect this place as I go and protect your loved one from harm."
The king nodded. He was given eternal youth and loss all of his power to his only child. Like promised, the woman watched the woman and child and the king protected the oasis. 60 years later when the boy child had a child, the king decided to meet his son and die like a normal man. Unfortunately the spell for eternal youth wore off and time caught up with him. He did a year later...
When the king died, he became a spirit to watch over his family with his love. The power that the king gave his son was passed down the family. To this day, it is a reminder of the love two people can share and that you can do almost anything if you find real love.
