When a team rocket base is discovered, there is the usual amount of excitement, confrontations, pokemon battles, and everything else. But what happens afterwards?

In the religion of kanto, near lavender city, there was one such base. It was disguised as a warehouse and used to transport and hold stolen pokemon. But when it was discovered it was quickly abandoned, with all pokemon left to be rescued by the police. The whole area was searched for anything that could be used against team rocket, and the warehouse has been deserted for years...

...or has it?

Lately there have been reports of strange noises coming from the warehouse, rumours that the area is now haunted by ghosts. Locals tell stories of trainers who have travelled to the area in search of certain ghost type pokemon disappearing, their own pokemon appearing weeks later as ghosts themselves, ready to snare the next unwary trainer.

Are these stories to be believed? Is anyone daring enough to find out?

The Scary looking rules for which you shall follow otherwise I'll send darkrai to steal your soul

1. There will be opportunities to capture wild pokemon in this roleplay. If I've posted a picture of a pokemon then, there is a good chance that someone can capture it unless I state otherwise.
2. Relating to the above; it's first come first serve.
3. If you didn't capture the pokemon, then do not fear; there will most likey be another one somewere else
4. There will be a 200g capturing fee for each pokemon.
5. Since halloween is coming up, I'm going to "try" to scare the pants of people, and mabye add in some blood on the walls too. However if anyone feels uncomfortable with how the roleplay is going (HOLY s**t THATS SCARY I'M GONNA PISS MAH PANTS), then please speak up so I can tone it down a bit.
5. I'll be handing out some items as well, for all the good roleplayers

The warehouse looked more like a abandoned graveyard then any storage facility, much less a secret team rocket base. Add to that the darkening skies, a slight fog that covered the ground, and you had the recepie for a great horror film.

Jade's smile deepened at the thought of catching some more rare pokemon for her "collection". The last few weeks had proven to be very benefitical for her. Even though her collection consisted of only one pokemon, a gible, it was a very hard one to find. Not only that, it already had proven to be stronger then pokes two pokemon, and it also loved to torment them.

She now turned to see how her companion was taking the scene. Jade could already tell that pokes pokemon where looking a little worried at the prospect of going inside, but as for poke she didn't seemed that concerned. She would have to change that.

"did you know that haunters are able to steal your life energy?" She questioned poke. " and that dusknoirs can take your soul to the netherworld?"

"you think that a dusknoir is going to be in there?" poke raised her eyebrow.

"c-can they really do that?" a tiny squeak came from the top of pokes head. A little pichu was holding onto her head, which was now starting to frizzle from the pokemons static ability. Poke was quick to noice

"ahh, careful sandy! I just combed my hair" she picked the pokemon up and started to cuddle it. "don't worry, I wont let any ghost pokemon steal your soul. Or yours either Aloura".

From behind poke, the evee looked up towards the trainer and smilied, feeling reasured by her statement. When she looked at the warehouse though, she hid behind poke again.

Tilly's eyes widened as she came upon the tall, dark, and creepy warehouse. Her small hands clutched a pokeball with what seemed like fear.

The 8 year old was always hunting for adventure. But since no one really took her seriously, she had to snoop for it. Quietly listening to the conversations of her elder trainers and the commonfolk going about their daily business. It seemed that this place was one of the major topics she'd stumbled upon.

Regrets? Sure, she had a few. Horror movies were not her specialty considering her age. BUT, with a stiff upper lip, she took in a deep breath and glared at the warehouse with obvious determination. "I'm not scared of anything!" It was a lie, but she did feel better after saying it.

Her eyes glanced down at the pokeball. "We can do it Dimitri! We've been this far!" Without another word, she placed the pokeball back in her bag and made a beeline for the entrance, not even noticing the stationary Poke she'd just passed.

Eienna approached the warehouse with an excited curiousity. She wasn't really there for the possible pokemon, or the supposed ghosts. She just loved exploring places left behind, and reading the stories in the way things were left. An old team rocket hideout....maybe she'd even stumble across something valuable.
She was, however, cautious about bringing her Pokemon; she figured she might need help, but she did not want to place them in unnecessary danger; Ghost pokemon could be unpredictable. She had only brought Coty, who was traveling beside her. She caught sight of Tilly. "Hey!" she called. "Since you're going in anyway, would you like me to come with you?"

The thought of the little girl going in alone was a bit....unsettling.

In search for more art research, Rimu had spotted a rather...spooky area. Bringing only Madhu and Ares, her Butterfree and Mightyena, she slowly gather her courage outside the entrance.

"Ok..breath...breath....." Rimu whispered to herself. Sweat built across her forehead as she slowly crept into the warehouse. Slowly regretting the decision she forced herself to walk further.

"Why am I here again?" a small whine escaped the aspiring pokemon artist.

"Because you want to see real ghost pokemon with your own eyes, and you think your tough enough to take the scare!" Ares retorted as he rolled his eyes and walked in front on Rimu. "Don't worry, you got me...didn't you say Ghosts are weak against psychic and dark?"

".....Umm..." Rimu took the moment to think, "I..actually don't know...." she chuckled nervously....

At that point...the 2 pokemon knew they were dealing with a class A stupid....

Alright, so their mother Valerie had a crazy idea and dragged them all to Kanto for a Thanksgiving Holiday. Even though Thanksgiving was a week or two ago and the their holiday will run into Halloween. Sicel suspected that Valerie just wanted to check out the Pokemon Tower. She's always been a sucker for ghost stories, and she probably wanted something different from Mt. Pyre this year.

Whatever the case, the whole family was now staying in a small house in the southern end of the city. Of course, putting Sicel and his father Felix in the same house was always a recipe for disaster, and after a rather loud and violent disagreement between the two of them, Sicel stormed out of the the house.

And of course, wherever Sicel goes, Lina followed.

"I can't stand him." Sicel fumed for about the umpteenth time. The boy never lost his temper over anything- anything except his father. Lina wasn't really paying attention to him, always preferring to stay out of the arguments between her brother and her father. She loved them both dearly, but never understood why they hated each other so much. (Well, Felix doesn't hate his son, but his son certainly hates Felix.)

Beside Sicel walked Morana the houndour. She glanced around nervously, looking to Sicel for approval every once in a while, tugging nervously at her harness whenever the boy started to veer off the path. The shy and gentle houndour is Sicel's guide, for he lost his sight earlier this year. Morana is still in training, but she was a smart one and Sicel could already rely on her.

Three Pokeballs adorned his belt. The first contained his most trusted partner, Charm the Charmeleon. The other two were more newly caught pokemon, a Larvitar named Laurel and a Pigeot.

Beside Lina strolled a Ninetales. Her red eyes scanned her surrounding suspiciously, always turning on Lina every once in a while to make sure the girl was ok. The girl carried three pokeballs on her- an empty one that was the Ninetales', one that contained Frill the butterfree, and the last one held Minerva the Eevee.

"Oh, um, where are we going?" Lina piped up a moment later, realizing that they had been walking for a little while now.

"I heard there was an abandoned Team Rocket hideout around here. I thought we'd go check it out." was Sicel's reply. Lina had no problems with the reply at all- until they reached the warehouse.

Lina looked at the building warily. It just seemed...not safe. Shivering, she tugged on her big brother's arm.

"Let's go back!" She begged him. An irrational fear was building up inside her, and she wanted to do nothing more than just turn around and run. Sicel shrugged her off.

"What's wrong? You scared?" Sicel teased, smiling. Lina nodded.

"Y-yeah...it...feels..."

"Kinda like Mt.Pyre. I getcha. C'mon, let's go check it out." Sicel turned around and Morana, understanding the conversation, started down the path towards the building.

"W-wait! Brother!" Hesitating for just a moment, Lina ran to Sicel's side and stayed quietly beside him.

Sicel hid a small smile. He didn't tell Lina about the stories he's heard about this place. He hoped that she won't be too scared -and she'll be safe enough, he was here and Pixie would never let harm befall her- but it was a perfect opportunity to show Lina a little courage...

Her attention broken from the kid, Eienna spotted Lina. "HEYYY!" she called out to her, waving. She actually forgot the kid was there as she jogged up to say Hi. "Quite a few people coming here today, huh...?"

Jade was always astounded at the amount of trainers that seemed to pop up where-ever she had decided to go. Especially when there was suspicious things happening.

She could already identify a few familiar faces. The girl known as Lina, and her now blind brother Sicel, walked down the pathway towards the warehouse. Jade had to wonder at the wisdom of walking into a ghost infested base with only a houndour to guide you, and a sister that wasn't good for anything.
Then there was the Eienna girl, who seemed to be to friendly with everyone, following the other two into the warehouse. It also appeared she had only brought her sandslash, and this made her giggle - bringing a ground-type pokemon against ghost type? she wouldn't last long. Finally, a girl with a buterfree and mightenya was here, but she hadn't really seen her before, so she could not comment.

"looks like all your little friends have come to play" she commented to poke, and would of made a snide remark but realised that said poke was nowhere to be seen.

~~~~~~~~~
So she wasn't the only one whom had heard the rumours about the Team rocket base. Well then, the more people going inside the merrier. Truth be told, poke wasn't as confident as she was letting on. Ghost pokemon would be harder to fight then other pokemon, she couldn’t fend them off using her own skills. And her pokemon where little more than babies, so there was no way she wanted to involve them in fighting.
But, like any brave adventuring trainer, she was always curious about what was going on in the outside world of pokemon. And there was always the possibility of finding out something else to research and present to the professor.
Still, she wished that jade had not accompanied her. The woman had a knack of making everything so much harder to deal with, and with a bully of a pokemon, it made everything worse.
While she could see some new people she hadn't seen before, she quickly noticed a small kid - probably the same age as Timmy and Amy, glare down the impending warehouse.
"Who's she?" Sandy asked poke.
"not a clue, but maybe we should - oy! what the hell?!"
the kid said something to a pokeball in her hand, practically bolted past poke, then went right towards the inside of the warehouse.
She was spending to much time babysitting the professors relatives. Already she was panicking at such a small child running into danger. And her pokemon was probably a rattata or something that wouldn't be able to fend of a wild pokemon.
"Wait up!" she called out to the kid and sprinted after her, with aloura at her heels.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The inside of the Warehouse was dark - almost pitch black. The fog from outside had somehow creped inside, and gave the house a very eerie tone to it. Sounds seemed either to distant, or to close for comfort. Apart from the fog, there were many large containers that where closed or opened, their contents taken long ago.

Any calls to the overzealous child were completely ignored. Purposefully? Probably not. She was just concentrating so hard on getting herself past her fears and inside the building, selective hearing kicked in.

The second she got in those doors, however, everything went back to normal. Her green eyes widened like a deer in headlights. "I-I'm not affffraid..." She tried to console herself, which didn't work as well as she'd hoped this time.

Carefully reaching into the bag at her side, she shuffled the contents around looking for something specific. Sure, she was only 8. But she wasn't stupid. If you were gonna adventure, one of the essentials was a flashlight. A small smile cracked when she wrapped her little fingers around it and pulled the flashlight out.

Within seconds, there was a small shining light in the warehouse. "W-wow." It was even bigger on the inside. But at least it didn't feel as creepy now that she had a light. And with that, she started taking baby steps farther in.

Pausing a little further away from the entrance than a few other trainers that had stopped by, Blade stared down towards the warehouse. He didn't quite recall being here before, but the rumors of activity from within piqued his interest. There was a certain risk about this, especially if one of his suspicions were true.

But at least his arm had finally healed up by now. That and he was fairly prepared for anything that might be a problem here.

There were a few familiar faces within the small crowd of trainers, one belonging to someone he really didn't care to see. Jade, that is. There was at least one person in the group who he didn't quite recognize though... and she was the one to bolt straight into the warehouse with Poke darting in after her.

With a sigh, he dashed his way into the warehouse as well, figuring it may be better to keep up with the others.

One thing for certain, it was pretty hard to see inside the building. Even with the small light that came from the girl further ahead, it wasn't too easy to navigate. A few things went through his mind here on what could be done... he could provide his own light, but at the same time it'd probably be better to just have one of his pokemon do it.

He decided on the latter... it wouldn't hurt to have an extra set of eyes out anyway.

And before long, more of the area was lit up with the warm glow eminating from Bahamut's tail. The Charizard looked around through the darkness, before looking to his trainer for an explanation.

"What is this?"

"An abandoned warehouse. There's been some rumors that stuff has been going on here... so we're here to check it out."

"There's something about this place that seems... vaguely familiar..." murmured the Charizard.

With a shrug, Blade looked around to see were Poke and the girl were exactly, then made his way to the nearest one.

Rimu watched as more people entered into the warehouse. Hoping to not disturb the atmosphere, she quietly walked along her hand on her Mightyena, hoping he would lead the way. "Can you smell anything weird?" she worried.

"No..let me ask my awesome sense of sight...." Ares retorted after bumping to what seemed to be a shelf of some sort.

Carefully, Rimu pulled out her flashlight and camera. "I feel like we're in Fatal Frame...." she whined quietly as her flashlight blinked a bit before staying on.

"You play too many video games for a 14 year old...." Madhu preached as she landed on Rimu's backpack.

Deciding to ignore her 'pest', Rimu continued in snapping a few pictures every now and then.

It wasn't hard to pick out the child in the dark. The girl had thankfuly brought a torch with her.
A quick glance around, and poke was already spooked. And looking behind she had forgot about Jade as well. Crap, so she was inside a warehouse trying to keep her eyes on another kid. Not to mention her own pokemon were starting to shake with fear.

"Alright Sandy, stay with Aloura here..." she let the pichu down to scamper to her friends side, thenw atch them both jump when another flashlight lit up a small area.

"Now stay close...oy...oyyy!" she hissed into the darkness to try get the kids attention. "come back here, stay with the group!" poke brought her own flashlight and edged towards the kid.

"poke...wait uppp..." Aloura whimped, trotting behind. It was hard to make out her trainers soluette with all the other lights flashing around. Then she paused. "Sandy...did you hear that....?" Her ears could pick up a faint clashing sound in the distance...and was it getting closer? It was!

"wah!" she jumped forwards for a few paces, running towards a souce of light where she thought it was poke, untill she bumped into something else...was it a tail?
PostPosted: Sat Oct 17, 2009 7:34 pm

Tilly paused her baby steps as she heard voices. She couldn't quite make out what they were saying because of how all the other sounds were mixing, but it made her look back nonetheless.

Not thinking to shine her flashlight back with her eyes, all she saw was floating disembodied lights. Her little heart pounded faster and faster. "G-G-G-GHOSTS!" She shouted at the top of her lungs and ran as fast as her little legs could carry forward. Rationally speaking, most people in a normal situation would be able to figure out that it could be those other people who were also outside of the warehouse. But this was a little girl. And a very frightened one at that.

aaahhh...humans, they were so easy to scare...the ghastly didn't have to really try. Half the time they scared themselves.
This one had been lurking in the shdaows, watching the people come inside. Already he saw a target that looked promising.

Lazily it floated to the path that the kid was taking, then waited untill the kid would bump into it, and that shout out a scary sounding, "ghassttllyyyyy"
