Kinko had finally managed to slip away while her parents were busy. Her father had caught wind of all the fighting going on around Faetasia and had forbidden her from even going outside. Well that just didn't set well with Kinko! Not. At. All. It wasn't like she was some kinda pansy a** sissy girl. Heck, she could best Saber in a brawl if she gave it any effort.
The Meanki padded along a pretty dark and spooky looking path. Her long, fluffy tail flicking back and forth as gold eyes scanned the area around her. Ears twitching as the sounds of fighting came from all directions. It really was pretty much a free for all. And she wondered, just who might she come upon. She'd heard there were zombies and vampires running around. And the occasional Unholy here or there. But she was ready for anything! A quick fist pump into the air and she was soon off, running down the path as quickly as she could. The natural thrill of the hunt that coursed through her veins made her heart pump faster. Her senses on edge as scents flooded her nose.
"Come on out!" She cried towards no body in particular. Maybe if she uttered a challenge someone nearby would head her call. "Unless your too scared of a poor little Meanki like me!"

After leaving his last victim practically broken, Tiernan set off looking for a fresh meal. The regular had hardly sustained him as she had already lost too much blood, leaving barely enough to live let alone for him to drink. Now he darted about on all fours, scanning the area as he went. Most Faes were occupied in battles while some littered the floor with their wounds healing. None of them seemed fit enough for him to have his way, so he continued on.
While he was wandering, he heard the words of an obviously daring female. The challenge in her voice struck him happily as he veered off his current path to seek her out. "Excellent," he growled, shooting through the trees as if they weren't even there. When he came along another dirt path, he heard the voice again and directed himself towards it. He grinned wildly, licking his fangs. As soon as he spotted the female Meanki up ahead, Tiernan realized he had found his target.
"Fresh meat," he purred, while slowing his pace. This one seemed like more of a challenger, which meant she must have stronger blood. Quite pleased with his find, the vampire stood up straight and walked right up to her, brandishing his fangs. "You want a fight?" he asked, his tone very deep and dark sounding. "I'll give you a fight.."

Hmm, well it seemed her challenge was answered very quickly. Good. That meant she wouldn't have to be standing around her with her thumb up her a** all day. Very good indeed.
His fangs didn't take her aback very much. She was used to seeing over sized fangs. Her father's were quick large, in fact. They were probably larger than this guys. Of course, her father was quite the epitome of wild and could easily send others running with even a glance.
The Fae had a stink about him which caused Kinko to wrinkle her nose slightly. It was an undead stink. She had smelt it in passing before but being up close to what she assumed from the fangs was a blood sucker. A vampire. The young Meanki had often heard tails of them from her father. Who seemed to have a very, very strong opinion about them. Nothing but parasites.
The corner of her lips curled up into a smirk. Revealing her own, smaller little canines. "Yea, I'm lookin' for a fight." She flicked her long hair back over her shoulder. "You better not pansy out on me just cause I'm a girl! Bring it sucker!"

Tiernan eyed the girl up and down while deciding she obviously had an attitude. That was certainly fine by him. Those like her were usually the ones most fun to break. The vampire tilted his head to the side, still grinning at her. "You look tasty," he called out to her, a bit of truth behind his words. The smell of her blood was very faint. He could easily change that, though, as he intended.
Within moments, Tiernan was back on all fours and now darting towards his prey. Instead of charging right at her, he turned to circle her a few times, taking in her smell. He stopped and kicked himself upwards to stand up beside her. "Mmm," he purred, "quite tasty indeed." The vampire had no intention to 'pansy out' as she put it. He would not let such a fine being get away if he could help it.
Snarling in her ear, he swung his paw around with claws out, aimed right at her chest. At the same time, he whipped his tail around him and tried to wrap it around her paw. If he could get a good grip on her, he'd at least have the upper hand, he thought.

Tasty huh? Well that was new. Probably not the kind of tasty comment she would get from any other regular guy. Course, this was no regular guy. No, he was fast. Much faster than she had expected. And for a brief moment she had a hard time keeping up with his movements. Even with all her brawling with Saber, she cursed herself a little at not being a bit faster.
She moved back a step as his claws came at her chest. The tips grazing across her chest, ripping up small bits of fur as they passed by. She stumbled for a moment and soon found his tail wrapped around her paw tightly. Lucky enough for her, it was the one paw that was the least dangerous. On her other arm were shiny, gold spikes that stuck out from her arm warmer. Pulling her other arm in front of her, she lunged forward. The spikes pointed towards his own chest. If she missed with those she still had her own claws to follow up with.
Kinko snarled herself. Hissing lightly as her tail lashed back and forth. She put as much force and weight as she could behind her lunge.

Mmmm, the smell of her blood was much more potent now. Pleased with himself, Tiernan purred and murmured, "You smell just as tasty, too." This was just before the female retaliated. Spikes suddenly came towards him which he had failed to see before the attack. They did puncture his skin, but not too deeply. Obviously, this female did indeed have a bit of toughness to her.
"You're tougher than you look," Tiernan growled, more surprised than anything with her attack. "Not more powerful, though." A grin appeared again, though this time towards the female. She was at least proving to be more fun than his last piece of meat.
He then attempted to pull her paw downward with his tail. If he managed to knock her off her balance, he'd aim another attack of his claws at her shoulder or neck. However, if she could stand her ground, the vampire would have to find some other way to gain control of her movements.

"Well I'm glad I at least look and smell tasty." She smirked. "Cause smelling repulsive isn't something I'd prefer." Kinko could feel her spikes pierce his skin, but before she could put any more pressure into her attack she felt a hard tug on her paw. And soon she could feel her body falling sideways, the ground growing ever closer to smashing into her face.
Though, with some quick thinking she leaned into the fall. Rolling her body with it until she landed on her back. Back legs quickly lashed out at his knees aiming to at least get him down on the ground with her. She wasn't just going to lay down on her back THAT easily.
"Its not all about power buck-o! You gotta have the brains to go with it to! And you seem to be lacking." She wrenched her arm up over her head, digging her claws into his tail as she did so. She was leaving her belly open, but if she yanked hard enough maybe he'd let go.
