A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
Far beyond the reaches of the outer rim lie a territory vast and full of possible wealth. With the North and southern poles covered laregly in ice, the equator was the only habitable area. Though the middle continent, the only continent not covered in ice, was rich in rescources. The West having Materialite, Fiberplast, gasses, metals, and other industrial rescources, a small civilization thrived upon it's sciences and technology. While it was mainly mountainous and flooded valleys, the people still multiplied, slowly. Hardly any farm land, meant not as much surplus food, and being an isolated planet, they had no trade.
There in the East there was a country vast and expansive, with rich grasslands. These nomadic, farming, militaristic people soon began to move to the West, until they came to the border of a foreign people. They immediatly mobilized for war, sending all of thier forces to attack, by land, sea, and air. Thier weapons were very primative, and the defensive and homeland bonus that the mountains and the men had in thier hearts drove back the Easterners. With nearly unlimited men, they just kept coming and coming, but they were leveled over and over, always pushed back.
Diplomats met, and a treaty was formed, though broken in a matter of months, the peace and war frequented on and off. Envoys were sent once this plnet was discovered, both for the Republic and the Confederacy. Colonies, factories, bases, and cloning centers were established. In an act of war, it was angering the East and the West, the Platoniates and the Degearians, West and East, respectively allied. They joined together to fight against a common enemy, and soon a war was going on. After almost a decade of war, and war with each other, the invaders were fought off. The peace reigned for almost twenty years, though the peace and war were uneasy for a year at a time in between some stages, soon the Empire returned, and it became a three way war. The Platoniates, the Degearians, and the feared Platic-men, assault infantry, or Imperial Stormtrooper forces were at war.
Though the Rebels never landed on the planet, they often made sweep atacks on the imperial space craft, and made a few bombing runs on the ground forces, not much, more of a nuisance than anything. Now, with the Rebels destroying the second death star, and scrambling to restore order, the Empire moved to set up a large base on Polderash, and would move to protect thier assests there. Besides the Imperial space over the planet, the natives could pin down or destory any new forces in the area. The Empire soon built thier defenses, dug themselves in, and got ready for one hell of a fight. A triangle of hate, conquest, spite, and desire, this place was what the stormtroopers called," The stranger post." It made strangers the closest of allies, and made relatives weep and pray for thier husbands, thier brothers, and thier fathers. It was one hell of a zone, and it wasn't going away anytime soon.

Weapons: One light antipersonnel bottom mounted gun. Useful for infantry and scout disposure. Crew: One pilot, one additional passenger behind him. Cargo space: None Top Speed: 300 MPH Armor: Low, hand held weaponry is effective against it. Shields: None
AT-PT((All Terrain Personal Transport)): Uses: Medium reconnaissance, efficient at infantry disposure, light anti vehicle capabilities. Weapons: Two heavy antipersonnel forward mounted laser cannons, one concussion grenade launcher. Feet are able to step on infantry. Crew: One pilot. Cargo space: None. Top speed: somewhere between 60-80 MPH Height: 15 feet. Armor: Low, vehicles are very efficient versus it. A battalion of well equipped soldier may prove good against it. Hand held weapons have low effectiveness, but grenades will do well against it. Shields: None
Weapons>Vehicles>Empire> Troop transport AT-TT((All Terrain Troop Transport)) Uses: Mainly troop transportation. Weapons: One top mounted medium strength laser cannon with a low rate of fire. Six wheels that can trample infantry beneath them. Crew: One pilot, one optional copilot, and up to ten comfortably seated foot soldiers. Twenty maximum. Cargo: Weapon racks for soldiers, up to ten. Top Speed: Around 200 MPH Armor: Medium, penetration by infantry is unlikely, vehicles would need sustained fire to breach it's hull. Shields: None.

Weapons>Vehicles>Empire>Scout/assault AT-ST((All Terrain Scout Transport)) Uses: Not very efficient for surveying large areas, but capable of guarding borders and attacking in hit and run with plenty of force. Efficient versus light vehicles and some infantry. Heavy vehicles pose a problem. Weapons: Two side mounted concussion grenade launchers, two forward repeating medium strength laser cannons. Crew: One pilot, and one optional copilot. Cargo: None. Top Speed: 50-70 MPH Height: Around 20 Feet. Armor:Medium, legs are very heavily armored, but easy to trip. Awkward on it's feet. Head is Heavily armored and only penetrated by vehicles or many grenades. Shields: None.

Weapons: Two medium strength blasters on the sides of it's head, and two heavy blasters on it's chin with low rate of fire. Crew: Two pilots, and optional four copilots. Up to sixty one infantry and one speeder bike, or substituting nine infantry for a speeder bike. Cargo: Explained in crew. Top Speed: 50-60MPH Height: About 70-100 feet. Armor: Extremely armored: Only assault vehicles and anti vehicle turrets will effect it. Shields: None.

Top speed: about 100 MPH. Armor: None, infantry can pick it off if they hit it a few times. Sheilds: None. Other: This thing is about the size of a basketball. It explodes inside a vehicle and clears it out for scrap metal or for the Platoniates to recover.

Top speed: 150 MPH Armor: Very light Shields: None Other: Stealth, uses active camouflage to disguise itself.
Platonian Bird of PREY((Potential Recon, and Extraction Yield craft)) Uses: Reconnaissance, recovery of POW and MIA soldiers Weapons: Homing rocket launchers Crew: One pilot, and up to two passengers. Cargo, none. Top speed: 100 MPH Armor: None/little. Shields: None. Other: A flight craft, similar to a miniature jet.
Weapons>Vehicles>Platoniates> Support> Infantry Camper: Uses: Infantry support. Weapons: Laser mine deployment. Crew: One pilot, and up to five infantry in the ports, and fifteen more inside. Cargo: None, exception is the infantry's weapons. Top speed: 50MPH Armor: Heavy. Sheilds: Medium. Other: It burrows intot he ground, deploys mines around it, and then becomes camoflaged. Infantry sit in it, and stick thier rifles out of the ports, often sniper or rocket launchers, so they can pick of tagets from far away.
Assault Ambulance: Uses: Infantry assault, unit maintainance. Weapons: Large materialite blades that can slice through infantry and light armor with ease. Crew: One pilot, two blade regulators. Up to five wounded soldiers, and two mechanics. Cargo: Just enugh for tools and supplies. Top speed: 130MPH Armor: Light-Medium, should not be around vehicles unless behind allied units. Sheilds:Light.

Other: While playign with messege reception, the Platoniates intercepted rebel transmitions, stealing the design and increasing the weapons system by 34%

Top speed: 80 MPH Armor: Medium-Heavy Sheilds: Heavy Other: HAs a compartment with ten infantry holding capacity. When this is dropped a laser cannon atop it wards off foes as it is deployed, allowing the troops to Move freely without fear of being a target.

Arachnid scraper: Accuracy: Laser guidance-Elite Power: Disables vehicles and makes enemy infantry in the area unconscious. Rate of fire: Very slow. Range: Medium. Length: 6 ft. Rounds: 2 shots per round. Recoil: High. Other: Take about three men to fire and reload this collosal heavy weapon.
Jackes infantry slayer: Accuracy: Extremely good. Power: See other. Rate of fire: Medium Range: High. Height: 4 ft Rounds: One per clip. Recoil: None. Other: essentially a mortar that sits on a stand. It hts the ground and sucks in all of the hydrogen and oxygen from the air, which creates a vacuum, that pulls infantry closer. Then it fires small grenades inside the infantry's bodies. This gives them a lethal disease which is highly contagious.
