~Making a Banner~If the banners posted here aren't exactly what you want, create your own!!
arrow Find an image you would like to use for your banner. Usually, simpler=better. Make sure it is no more than 500x500 pixels tall/wide. This is the max size for a signature banner. And nothing over PG-13 content, also.
arrow Next comes an image editing program. Ideal programs are PhotoShop, PaintShopPro, Corel Painter, and GIMP. But there are many other image editing programs that would be ideal to use.
arrow Import your image into the program; this is usually
File->import. Here, you can crop the image to the size you would like it to be. One important point here is to
NOT cut off any faces completely. You may choose to have just a characters eye's in the shot or their whole face, it doesn't matter, but don't completely cut out all facial features.
arrow This is when you pick a font and add effects. Type something like the guild's name, join now, ect. Layers make it easier to use effects and add text, as well as make them easier to control
arrow Save the image, then upload it to Photobucket, Imageshack, or another hosting website of the like. The image MUST HAVE a URL or an IMG code to be used in a banner!!
arrow Come here, click 'post,' copy-paste the URL or IMG code of the image in and edit it into the banner code found in the above post. Then submit it!
