Synopsis: Thousands and thousands of years after the war in Celterica, our story comes to a group of people who live ordinary lives, have jobs, and believe themselves to be completely normal in general. They are, in fact, not normal. Now, they have been chosen by the Gods and Goddesses to save the world from an incoming threat. They must fall in glove, build friendships, and survive saving the world. Talk about pressure! Rating: Rated for some cursing, maybe some sexual references, and so on. Warnings: There is a bit of homosexuality, spoilers for Stephen King books, lots of quotes, some maybe scary things about ghosts, and maybe a few gruesome references to things like the Spanish Inquisition. Genre: Same as first part, I suppose. Comments: I live for them. Seriously, please comment, especially considering this is my first time on NaNo.

Aimee Mann - Superball A rather mindless song, that held the playfulness and randomness of this novel. Aimee Mann - That's Just What You Are Aimee Mann seems to be a great artist for this novel, her songs just fit. Bow Wow Wow - I Want Candy The type of cheerful beat I could see Clara, the Captain's Daughter singing and dancing to. Crystal Method - Majic Carpet Ride The lyrics of this song truly showed what the shop is about: You don't know what we can see/Why don't you tell your dreams to me/fantasy will set you free. Dee-Lite - Groove is in the Heart Again, just a cheerful tone that hold the cheerfulness of this book. Frank Sinatra - I Get a Kick Out of You This song somehow, almost fits as if the costumers were singing to the shop itself. Frank Sinatra - Pocketful of Miracles This is almost the very theme song of the shop. Just take out one or so lines, and it is perfect. Harry Connick Jr. - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Another playful song, though I suppose the word itself fits the shop. Harry Connick Jr. - A Spoonful of Sugar I can see Clara or someone else singing this as they clean up a mess in the shop. Howard Jones - New Song The lyrics say it all: Dont be fooled by what you see/Dont be fooled by what you hear/....Dont crack up/Bend your brain/See both sides/Throw off your mental chains Jason Mraz - I'm Yours An all around happy song that I adore for this novel. I picture the crew singing it together. Melody Gardot - If the Stars Were Mine A sweet song, full of happiness.Men Without Hats - Safety Dance The song lyrics fit the attitude of the shipmates towards disbelievers, in a way.Nik Kershaw - Hello World Shows the opposite of Rolly's world. Instead of full of magic, it's full of leopard skin and polished wood. Nik Kershaw - Take me to the Church This makes me think of a disbeliever of Rolly finally accepting the shop, or perhaps how the crew felt when they were first accepted on board. Oingo Boingo - Weird Science About Frankenstein, I believe, but it fits the insanity of the potions and things they create for the shop. Prince - 1999 A very fun song, the lyrics explain a huge party, which, to me, is what Rolly's ship is. Reel Big Fish - Song #3 Another song that just fits. R.E.M. - It's the End of the World as we Know it Insane. That's the song and the book, plus I can see someone in the novel trying to sing this entire song and never succeeding. Romantics - What I Like About You Just cheerful, and I really like the song in general for this novel. Rosemary Clooney - Come On-A My House I love Rosemary, and am super happy I could fit one of her songs in. Saturday Morning Cartoons - Just Open Up and Let the Sun Shine In. A cheerful song about letting go of all sadness and anger and always being happy. Scissor Sisters - Music if the Victim The singer has given everything up for something better in this song, and, to me, so did the crew of Rolly's ship. Kind of makes me think of their bad lives until they got to Rolly's ship. SmashMouth - Allstar Lyrics again: Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming/Didn't make sense not to live for fun/So much to do so much to see/And all that glitters is gold. Teddy Bears - Cobrastyle A very fun, cheery song that makes me want to dance. The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun You could take this as just a happy song, or maybe the villagers waiting for Rolly's ship are thinking this, making the sun Rolly's ship. The Beatles - The Magical Mystery Tour Title was somewhat inspired by this song, and I just love it for the novel. The Cranberries - Ode to My Family So far, the only sad song. How I picture Amie feeling after his parents died. U2 - Vertigo Crazy, cheery song. Love it for this novel Yiruma - The River Flows Through You A special song that incorporates all the love in this novel into one piece. I honor you like a god, Yiruma.

Okay, you can yell at me or delete my post, but I had to say this: I am looking forward to reading this. Those one-liners make me laugh so hard! Trust me, if I had any drawing talent, I would be drawing you banner upon banner. I seriously love this idea.

This looks like it could definitely be a very interesting read! From what you've provided, I can't help but be reminded of "Mr McGoriums Wonder Emporium". Will definitely have to check back.
