Because I suck at titles and think I'm witty at 4AM. Mrah haha. In any case, I'll be posting chapters on my LiveJournal, probably tagged NaNo or something similar. Ratings and stuff here. Title: Haruke's Story; To Bring An End Rating: Mostly PG-13, but definitely going to head into R and NC-17 areas before its all done Genre: Fantasy, slowly developing into urban fantasy Warnings: Um...lessee. Yaoi, potential yuri, gore, lots of death... Summary: The country of Desora is at war with itself. No one knows why any more - to free the magical slaves, to strengthen the country enough to conquer the world, or other, hidden reasons? Years of politics and schemes drive the never-ending effort. But the common people, the soldiers fighting the war, know nothing of this. They fight their own small wars for reasons that mean as much or more to them. Haruke Shinavi, a mage passing for human in a world that would kill him if his deception were discovered again, only wants to hang on to what he has - a best friend that means the world to him, a best-selling novel, and a research grant from the best university in the country. Kira Ashikira, a physically augmented government soldier, fights for a group she no longer trusts simply to keep the people she loves alive and safe. And in the chaos of war, entertainment must keep on - Haruke writes his final novel, The Adventures of Kimura Hana, about a magical girl in modern-day Japan. They live in an unsteady peace for the time being. But the war is drawing to an explosive close. They will not escape unscathed. --- - --- And the characters! Because I have art of most of them! That was me! Sorry. I was trying to say that your story sounds interesting, but I wasn't sure if you were done or not. sweatdrop I would definitely read it if it were available on the shelves of the library. Where it should go the second you finish it. o3o

Didn't quite hit the 1667 mark before midnight, but did get it before finishing this chapter, after which I am going to crash for a bit. ( Oh, Gabe, you're so silly )

Good job! I love Haruke's Story, the baby part was hilarious. (Somehow Gabe makes me think of myself)
All of the characters are beautiful, and the stories are well described.

Thank you! (I really swear I'll get to that plot thing tomorrow!) Gabe is actually the brainchild of my friend Eli (elixile2 here on Gaia, and you would have seen her comment on one of those whatsits), so I am doing my best to keep him as in character as possible~
I should add that my total is now 7,600/50,000, but that part I just wrote won't be posted...
