The autumn air spelled crisp and pleasant, and the weather was cool, but not cold. The sky was clear, and not a cloud was visible in the starry sky. Alnette hummed to herself as she wandered away from the safe path, enjoying the sound of her heels crushing leaves. Autumn was her favorite season and she would enjoy it to it's fullest.

Off the beaten path another figure walked, hidden in shadow. Emma was enjoying her newly reclaimed elven form to the fullest; all her senses were alight with the joy of autumn. The crunch of the leaves, the smell of the air-
-and Alnette, walking towards her.
"Oh!"

"Emma? Is that you?" The redhead blinked, almost startled. "Lovely evening isn't it?" Alnette laughed and twirled where she stood.

"It is." she replied simply. While her joy was more self-contained than Alnette's, she could still understand the Baroness.
The earth sang that night.
She could hear it in her bones.

He could feel the power emanating from the very ground he walked. The magical, spiritual and metaphysical energies of the universe that coursed through everything, were drawn here; to this location, called Necropolis. Or at least, this was one of the many bastions located around the world which acted as a focal point for the unseen forces to accumulate; as they had a habit of doing. Graveltooth had been given permission by both his Captain and the Baroness of this kingdom, to wander the grounds in search of value and it wasn't a second after he stepped foot on the rich soil of forest ground that he realized he had already found it. His observations would still take a while to gather, but at least now, he knew his time wasn't being wasted.

Though Alnette herself had not been there, she had watchers everywhere. Upon noticing the unfamiliar, they hastily rushed to inform Alnette of the possible intruder. There was the rustling of a skirt on the ground as the succubus hastily made her way over to the disturbance, spellbook in hand.
"Oh, welcome." She determined that Graveltooth was no cause for worry, and instead decided to greet him. "Welcome. Is there a reason you're wandering the forest?"

As he stood on the charged earth, and sought for any disturbances in the force surrounding the area, Graveltooth was pleased when his bird returned with news. It seemed his presence had not gone unnoticed and before the Baroness had appeared, the Orc knew of her arrival. Yet, her question found him confused and he was only able to respond, "I decided to come here first, to see the land you have settled on. " He wasn't entirely sure why he had been sent on this mission, only that Gallon asked it of him, with the promise of reward should he find anything of interest. "While I'm here however," he added, adjusting the tome under his arm and stepping closer, "if you need anything.. please let me know."

"Oh, I see." Alnette nodded. "Do be careful, though. It is not always entirely safe to wander about off of the path. Many fiends lurk in the forest, even ones I would be hesitant to face." The Baroness yawned briefly. "All right then, if I need anything, I'll let you know. Also," she paused for a moment, "if you'd like access to a restricted area at some point, let me know, and I shall give you the permission necessary to access it."

Though the Baroness might have second thoughts on creatures of the night, Graveltooth was of a different opinion. He had long since traded his soul for power, and foul beasts of bone and flesh rarely saw him as a target. Instead, they observed his behavior with little interest, unless of course he used magic. Demons of all shape and size, proper and bestial grew tense if not outright feral when he summoned the deathly things known to him. To be fair however, the best undead minions were the ones who still had their soul. Thus, the Master of all that is evil grew to hate Necromancers, those known to hold the barrier of neutrality, especially ones who practiced in such a way. Snapping out of his own thoughts Graveltooth smiled at Alnette's polite gesture and replied, "That won't be necessary at this point, I don't think. 'Less you're hiding something spectacular behind those closed doors." He let the question linger for a moment before continuing, "I would like to stay the night however, and can afford the best bedding you have to offer. I just don't know where to start looking."
