Shinigami Profile

Character Name: Nakamura, Amaya 
Character Sex: female 
Character Age: (Based on appearance) mid-thirties
Height: 5'10" 
Weight: 140 pounds 
Basic Appearance: standard shinigami uniform with captain's haori over top. The sleeves of both are cut off. Her hair is pulled up in a bun and it is grey with streaks of green and purple. Wears two unattached sleeves, one on each arm. One is white, one is grey. Her zanpakuto hangs by her side from a purple scarf.


(Remove the book and glasses and replace the sleeves with the ones described. ^^)

Personality: Amaya is sarcastic and procrastinates, much like Shunsui, the former taicho. She is almost always calm and loves to tease her subordinates. She respects most authority, though a prank or two never hurts. She enjoys sake a little bit, but makes sure it stays out of the office. 

Zanpakuto: 
Zanpakuto’s Name: Supaida (spider) 
Zanpakuto’s Appearance: A watashi, like Nanao's. The hilt is wrapped in green and black cloth, and the blade is pure black with a silver line running down the middle.

Release Phrase: Weep, Supaida! (Amaya must cut a line in the air first, then slide the sword through it before it releases.) 

Shikai Appearance: a trident with the shaft wrapped in purple ribbon.  

Shikai Abilities: The trident is large and yet versatile. It can be thrown like a spear and used to pin enemies while Amaya uses kidou. The trident can also be used to focus hado into more powerful attacks. These are shot out through the three points of the trident.  
Attack 1: Doku Amimono (Poison Web)
This attack lets Amaya shoot strands of reiatsu out of the tips of the trident. These wrap around the target and temporarily paralyze it. These can also be used to create cables to climb from, hang on to, or even as a repair after a battle.  
Attack 2: Hitonomi (Bite)
Amaya can focus reiatsu into the center spoke on the trident and it will fire a tiny purple energy ball that acts as a dart. It causes a shock on the place of impact.    
Attack 3: Hiretsukan (Sneak)
When Amaya stabs the ground with her trident, it creates a minor fog that disguises her movements. This can be overcomed, however, if the opponent finds the trident in the fog and removes it from the ground. This fog only surrounds the target(s) and moves with them, so Amaya can still move and see clearly. 

Bankai Name: Soudai Supaida (Grand Spider) 
Bankai Appearance: Supaida takes the form of a giant claw-glove on Amaya's right hand. It is grey in color with purple and green patterns enscribed into it. The claws replace her fingers and they add a foot onto the length of her hand. Her left hand gains a small ring on the middle finger.  

(Note: Image is incorrect but that is the concept idea. Make it look more like a hand than a fist with sticks jutting out. ;D)
Bankai Abilities: These claws might seem like they hinder her, but because her speed is increased greatly, this is insignificant. Amaya's speed, dexterity, and strength are increased and all her attacks gain power.  
Attack 1: Supaida Dansu (Spider Dance)
This attack is very similar to a cero. It focuses reiatsu at the tip of each claw, creating five miniature reiatsu balls on her fingertips. These can be used to power up a punch or slice, or they can be charged up and fired like cero's. The five balls can be controlled individually, or combined in mid-flight to add a great amount of power.  
Attack 2: Kumori Hiretsukan (shadow sneak)
This is a more powerful version of Hiretsukan. This not only creates a fog, but it also takes away the sight completely for a maximum of ten seconds. It can be defeated by finding a trident statue and touching it. 
Attack 3: Shikon (fang)
This acts much like Supaida Dansu in the fact it uses concentrated reiatsu. However, this concentrates reiatsu in the claws themselves to strengthen them. This allows Amaya to cut through armour. As a second part, she can fire off the tips of the claws and use reiatsu to replenish the tips.   

Other Abilities: Amaya's left hand gains a ring once bankai is released. If she removes the ring and places it on the middle claw on her right hand, it unseals any reserve power and normally adds power to (spiderdance). Amaya can shunpo at taichou level and is proficient in kidou, needing incantations for only bakudo 99 pt1 and pt2, plus hado 90. Bakudo 1-61 can be performed without speaking. Hado 1-63 can also be performed without speaking. Hand-to-hand combat is lacking, however. 

Notes: If the other Division 8 Taichou application is accepted, please consider Amaya for fukataichou. The taichou's haori can be removed from her appearance, and bankai can either be known but never used (like Ikkaku) or she is learning it. Kidou unspoken numbers will be decreased and those requiring incantations will be increased.

good character design i'm actually planning to design a character myself I was thinking to make a more ruthless character

Kenpachi is the limit on being ruthless, don't go too overboard.... As for the pic, you sure you want an edited pic on Nanao ? if you want to know paint, look at my squad's picture department.

I can make you one and I can make her look a little like Nanao if you want. Just tell me what you want on your character and I'll try.
