So I was on myspace a few minutes ago, and Evanescence is on my friends list. They posted a bulletin and a blog, both titled "SECRET CONCERT":Evanescence So here's the surprise- Secret Show. NYC. November 4. w/ Civil Twilight. We want to play a little warm up show for friends before playing for 40,000 people in Brazil. Tickets will be available for pre-sale through Evclub starting tomorrow (10/21) at noon EDT, until 9 pm on Thursday. They will be available to everyone starting Friday at noon (I will post the link as soon as its active). It's not a big venue, only about 1,000 capacity so get em while they're hot! It will be at the Grand Ballroom on 34th and 8th (above the Hammerstein). BE THERE!

I'm soooo excited about this too. I wish i could go since it's going to be a fairly small venue. I wonder what they'll be singing.... like if they will be doing a new song or not. Probably not. I think they would have to wait until the new album is finished. I don't know. It would be cool to hear something new... even if it's just a cover of a song.
Since I can't go to this concert, I'm hoping that there will be some youtubing of it. I would really love if one of our member's are going to be going, that they could do a thread about it. Perhaps a day by day things starting with buying the tickets, rides there, ect ect. That would be great.

me too. I live in canada though sad . Although I do live in ontario, it would only take maybe 7 or 8 hours to get there, depending on where in NY it is.

She also said that the Brazil fans will hear something they didn't last time, so maybe that means Lose Control or Understanding? Gah, it's hard to tell. I know a few people who are going on Evthreads, so maybe I can ask them for pictures once it's all said and done?
