i was reading my school's paper (yes, i know, im a nerd) and there was an article of all of the incidents at the schools in our area (we had a bomb threat a few weeks ago, so theyre talking about bad incidents....) The Bear Facts at herndon high school this past spring, franklin perry, a colorguard choreographer, was arrested after a teenage victim complianed to officials that perry was soliciting sex from students. perry told the students he would leave his position unless they would have sex with him. in one case it worked, because the team had gone through several choreographers and some team members were eager to keep the coach at any cost. perry manipulated students from january until the end of march yeah....just wanted to share that with ya'll.....
would you lower yourself that much to keep a choreographer???

As much as I think the staff we have right now are awesome... it's not worth that much to keep ANY choreographer.

If my choreographer (we call him a director, but he makes up most of the work himself, but we have like ten other people who help too!) ever pulled something like that I'd be quitting guard.

Never. Of course, our guard has never really had one. We're all self-taught, and quite good at that. We are one of the few guards in my area to actually use rifles. Rifles rock.

xp Ew, no. Never. That's awful. We recently fired a choreographer because he told us he'd write for us and never came. We thought that was bad. surprised

Yeah, we've got a female coach.. And we're an all girl guard... I don't think we've ever had a male coach... Not that I know of, at least.
