This is the Critics and Questions thread! Now that we have plenty of projects in the works we need a central location for people to ask questions and get their current work looked at.
Be constructive! This is all about making the party more open and more enjoyable.
If you have any questions on a location, and something should look like, if this idea is a good one or that idea is a bad one, this is the place to ask! If you are working on a room entry, post it here so that others can help you finish it up.
Edit:Before you publish your rooms, go through Qwake! He's the theater master and will probably help you add a few props or alter the room to make it more authentic and theater like.

I really like the Bakesale as it is now. There will always be time to add more during the event itself if you want, but I think it will be pretty popular (especially once we get recipe discussions going on)

If any of the writers have any questions about theater terminology and other general theater stuff, just ask. I got to put those many years of being techie to good use.
Viper, I can't think of anything that could improve it.

Ha-cha! Critique my theater Room? I tried to add elements of an amazing building, an upcoming party, and a little spook factor toward the end.
Ah, the theater room. The heart of this establishment. It's where shows have been played, laughter arose, and tears shed. Just coming in here gives you the purging feeling the actors try their hardest to obtain.
The architecture of this place was just stunning. Across the walls stood statues of pewter, and classic paintings, with frames encrusted with what seemed to be specs of gold. Was it real? Maybe not, but it was pretty. The seats were adorned in a luxurious red velvet, and the floor, though a bit scoffed was what seemed to be granite. There was a balcony level, with a golden rails that surrounded the edge of the landing. And letterbox seating in the back for what you assumed to be for royalty (Or at least someone with lots of money) You couldn't see it well, but the seats were like thrones for the king. Yes, this place sure was quaint but it did have an elegant touch to it.
The lights suddenly turn on on the stage, there are some familiar faces setting up what seems to be a magic show. Silly you! You forgot you were at a Halloween party, didn't you? Instead of noticing the large, souless statues on the walls, you notice the banners and balloons. You notice there's a sign with upcoming events to watch.
Yes this place was snazzed up nicely since it was abandoned but you just couldn't shake an eerie feeling you had in the pit of your stomach. There was a strong scent in the air, as you took a whiff you knew it wasn't the upholstery or the pumpkin cookies. What could it be? You decide to shrug it off and continue oggling the theater instead.

Caramella, that sounds wonderful. All I would change is to make sure you keep it in present tense throughout, replacing words like "was" and "were" with "is." Also, I think the notice board with all the performances will be posted in the main area so you can probably remove that bit.
Jubilee, if you can send me the base file with just the parchment, I can do the rewrite for you. Zip files work just like folders, you can simply click and drag the files to wherever you want them, or you can "extract" them and they'll appear in the location of your choosing.
