What is gaia fishing exactly?
For one its the last on the revamp list so its never really been updated. Its a virtual place to fish with a pole one a lake, or a beach front, or the reclamation facility.

The Basics
1. You. - You, where you sit on the dock.
2. Room Name - The name of the room. Dur.
3. Fishing Hole Name - The name of the fishing hole. Again, dur.
4. The Control Panel -
Fishing Stats: Opens a page that shows the top ranked fishers on Gaia. Music: Turns the music on and off, even though there is no music.
SFX: Turns the sound effects on and off (Splashing, the whoosh sound made by the rod when it gets cast.).
Quality: Toggles between High, Medium and Low Quality picture. Instructions: Gais official fishing instructions, extremely dated though. and Quit: to stop playing.
5. Overview - Shows a map of the area, and where others are. By clicking around the water's edge, you can also move around the water.
6. The Bucket - Shows your catches, holds 18 fish/trash, and displays your bait.
7. The Distance Bar - Shows how far out your lure/bait thing is. The further out you can cast, the bigger the fish you'll catch. [How far you go depends on what rod you use]
8. The Rod - Displays your rod. Clicking the arrows lets you toggle between the different rods you own.
9. Power Gauge - Click once to start it, click again to cast. Try to time it so that the bar is further in the red. That way, you'll cast farther and get bigger fishies.
10. The Fishing Window - Where you fish, the body of water.
How to Play
1. click the water so you can prepare to cast.
2. Click again to cast the rod.
3. When you get a catch stay between the red lines.
4. You reel in by staying in the lines.
Facts
1.The father your rod goes, the better your chance to catch a good fish.
2. Each rod goes father than the other.
3. Theres different fish in every lake.
4. Cast to clsoe and you will most likely get nothing.
5. If you hook something the game alerts you.
6. You can catch 18 fish/trash per bag of bait, so one bucket.
7. you can take your fish to The Ole Fishing Hole and exchange them for items or other fish.
