But have you even noticed how pretty the most popular avatars are? Instead of just judging them by their worth and the user's popularity? I haven't seen many good-looking avatars besides the rich ones, honestly.

I used to host an avatar rating thread, so I know what I am talking about when I am rating avatars, and I have seen many great avatars that are not rich-clutter. I know a friend who put an OMG, irrelevant to his avatar, and still won. Maybe it is just me, maybe I am just mad that I cannot get popularity votes anymore.

--But when xbillxdt can be on the top ten with a crap-tastic avatar saying none-other than "Look at me, I'm xbillxdt." and still get 10's just for being popular.

Ye, there's some pretty crappy avi's in there but I think the arena itself was a good idea. As for me, I just like browsing every once in awhile, getting ideas for my avi and earning gold for doing next to nothing C=
