As you walk down the long, dark corridor that leads to the dimly lit entryway to NIGHTBREEDS, you are greeted by somebody (something) that might be familiar to those of you who remember the original Midnight Rose...

Welcome one and all to NIGHTBREEDS! I am Her Majesty, Queen Neferkitti, your hostess with the mostest (to quote one of my favorite "Creatures of the Night").
Since you have made it this far, obviously NIGHTBREEDS' (the club, not the individual) has found you and opened it's doors to your uniqueness as predator or prey.
Enjoy your stay, and above all else (to steal a line from another favorite "Creature of the Night" of mine) "Remember, play nice!

Queen Neferkitti ushers you in and goes about her business of "meeting and greeting."
NIGHTBREEDS is hard to describe other than to say its big... and dark.
When Nightbreed, the owner, thought this place up, he had a typical English pub in mind. This place is anything but a typical English pub. I guess it kinda "growed."
For one thing, the ambient lighting in NIGHTBREEDS is always low; just enough so that you can see what's going on around you but, somehow, the lights never seems to shine directly at anything...
...except on the stage. NIGHTBREEDS has a small cabaret stage at one end, just opposite the fully stocked bar, with a dance floor and amphitheater seating for about a hundred surrounding the dance floor.
To one side, there are tables and booths, including one giant sized table reserved for the club's owner. He's a little bigger than most... like nine feet tall? Maybe that's why the place is as big as it is?
>shrugs<
Anyway...
The place looks like an unpolished black rock cavern, but the floor is thick black rubber matting like you might find in a good laboratory or a playground. There are silver candle sconces high up on the walls with thick white candles burning in them, just for "atmosphere", and a line of heavy wooden doors along one wall (on the side where the tables and booths are) for the private clubs.
But the most interesting feature about the side where the tables and booths are has got to be the tree that's in the far corner. Nobody knows for sure whether it's a real tree or not, but it's growing right through a hole in the ceiling and looks like it's great for climbing!
Oh! There is one more feature that everybody notices...
Right in the center of NIGHTBREEDS, there's a silver spiral staircase leading up to the second floor leading up to whatever's on the upper floors. There's a sign at the bottom that reads "Authorized Personnel Only". If you aren't "Authorized Personnel", I wouldn't go up it if I were you because, at the top of the staircase is another sign...
It reads "Beware! Attack Dragon!"
As usual, NIGHTBREEDS is slightly less than half full when you come in.
