We're a lot more interested in what happens in our role-playing guilds here, such as NIGHTBREEDS and the Midnight Rose, than we are about rules; so consider these as guidelines to make sure that everybody gets to play and have a good time here...
1- Limit each of your posts to one action or speech or a combination of both and try not to post two or more posts in a row. Give others a chance to respond to what you post before you add to what you've done.
2- As much as possible, keep your post as brief as possible... Try to keep them to 100 words or less, okay? Long posts get boring real quickly.
3- Don't play anybody's character but your own. In other words, don't post an action and another character's reaction to your action in the same post, even if you "own" both characters. (Yes, you can bring your mules here.)
4- Don't quote more than one other post in your post. With a little editing, it can be done. If you don't know how, just ask for help in the Chatroom.
5- Try to keep whatever kind of "monster" (or human) you are as "pure" as possible. Don't mix types (for example, no lycanthrope-vampires or demon halfbreeds (other than demon-human) and no supermonsters. No omnipotent gods, either. We already have enough of them.)
Remember, things are going to happen slowly in any role-playing guild, especially if there's a lot of things going on. Be patient and we'll all have fun!
...which is the whole idea of role-playing, isn't it?
Yes, these are guidelines. We realize that there are going to be exceptions but, hopefully, not too many of them.
We also hope that we won't need to enforce them. We will if we have to but...

Just a suggestion here...
Make sure to read up on what's going on before you post so you don't interfere with the storyline, okay?
Makes it simpler for all of us!
