Well guys for awhile now, I've had my hands full with this game, BlazBlue, and I gotta say: It so FREAKIN' amazing. It's a fighting game, kinda like Guilty Gear, only more fast paced and better-looking. There are only twelve characters, and each has their own style, and there's really no room for button mashing players. (Personally I only use Noelle, Carl, and Hakumen.)
As for the storyline, I found it kind of confusing to follow. There's so many alternate endings to find, including the true story ending(obtainable after ccompleting every story at least once). BlazBlue basically follows a man named Ragna the Bloodedge, a criminal who posesses an Azure Gimoire, a weapon believed to be the strongest of all the rest.

dear god, i rented it for 5 days and LOVED IT!
i personally don't think the storyline is too confusing, but it get's really hard to follow. but really, all you have to know is that (highlight, spoilers) only THE REAL ENDING truly happens and that everything else is some time anomaly. The character's are pretty unique while not being too ""out there" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9h7tBzCmr0&feature=related) which i enjoy. The game art/concept art/event art is also really badass.

You're right about that^^ I kinda feel that they're gona come out with a second one some day. The true ending kinda left me hanging.

well they did set it up so they could give them a sequel (spoilers), when Terumi sent Tsubaki to kill Noel and Jin(spoiler) in the case that Blazblue got a good enough review from the viewers. In my opinion, it's somewhat 50/50 chance they would

Yeah, and it's a shame. I thought everything was perfect. It kept me playing up until my friend came to get his 360 back. *sniff* Now I have to go buy one myself. But, overall, I will expect a second BlazBlue, especially with all the online players I've seen on there.

the only reason we (yeah, i suck too) can't win is because of CARL being the god he is and being able to do infinite combos

I've never fought someone who used Carl, so I wouldn't know about that^^ But my major flaws come from those who can use Jin and Tager so freakin' well.

Right you are! I'm kinda envious of those who can keep an aerial combo going, though. I've been practicing a little bit, but I still can't do it for the life of me.
