Day 1 has ended, please move down to Day 2.

As you enter the massive Foyer you see a man in a dark suit and eye wraps running about, a string of little napkin-ghosts dragging behind his boot. He notices you and smiles.
"Oh good! You're here!"
The Foyer is filled with people setting up tables and cardboard boxes labeled "Halloween Decorations." A stream of workers passes your right and drops of an armful of pumpkins to the side (no doubt from the delivery truck outside). Sheets are being spread over the floor and one of the cooks brings out a box of carving knives.
"Welcome to the Pumpkin Festival! Friday is the pre-event, and we'll be decorating, carving pumpkins, sending out invitations and gifts, and hosting all types of other festivities. The walls (and threads) may seem a bit bland, but they'll be proper decorated by this evening. And speaking of this evening! The GCD Halloween Party officially starts tonight around 6:00 PM Western time. From what I hear they've booked a magic act, it'll be quite the start to quite the party! So come, join us! Grab a knife, carve a pumpkin! Hang some ghosties, go volunteer in the kitchen! There's plenty to do during the pre-event! In the meantime excuse any spelling errors, glitches or other mistakes around the place, we'll try to get them sorted before the party starts."

"So, what is the Pumpkin festival exactly?"
• It's a great time, that's what it is! You pick out pumpkins, get all of your decorations out and make sure that Halloween next week feels welcome! We'll be sending out invitations, decorating the theater, and even do a bit of gift-giving out in the GCD! Anything to get people ready for Gaia's Halloween event!
"Gift giving? I want to play! What should I do?"
• It is traditional to send out refurbished ghost sheets and ghosties during the Pumpkin Festival. You can find both at Ian's shop over in Barton. We like to include this little message with them to let others know about the party. It starts off as just a few people, but eventually turns into a great tidal wave of gift giving!

"Do you wear anything during the Pumpkin Festival?"
• Ghosties of course! It's even more fun if you put on the ghosty that you cut out yourself from the Refurbished Sheet (it's a Halloween RNG, costs 100 gold at Ian's). Nothing is more fun than seeing an entire forum in ghost sheets!
"This place seems kind of messy. Can I help?"
• Of course! Make a thread, say hi, go carve a pumpkin or start a game! Anything is welcome at the GCD Halloween Party!
