Hello and welcome to the event's Halloween Jeopardy game! I am your wonderful host, Hakuro de Killer.

For those who have never seen Jeopardy on television, here are the basics:

1. There are three rounds in Jeopardy. Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy, and Final Jeopardy. Jeopardy and Double Jeopardy has 7 categories with six questions for each. The point rewards in Double Jeopardy are double the rewards in regular Jeopardy. Final Jeopardy is the most difficult question in the game and each participant writes down their answers and their wagers. If the person answers Final Jeopardy correctly, they get the amount of points that they wagered. If the person answers Final Jeopardy incorrectly, they lose points that they wagered. Also, there are hidden questions called Daily Doubles within Jeopardy and Double Jeopardy which follow a similar principle.

2. In Daily Double and Final Jeopardy, you cannot wager more points than you have.

3. If you have negative points at the end of a round, you are eliminated from the competition and are unable to continue participation.

4. In Final Jeopardy, all answers will be PMed to me instead of posted in the thread.

5. The person with the highest amount of points by the end of Final Jeopardy wins gold equal to their point total, but no more than 10,000.

6. During the Jeopardy round ONLY (not Double or Final Jeopardy), any number of people can choose to jump in and participate. Once Double and Final Jeopardy rounds begin, no one can jump in and participate.

7. Anyone disrupting the game will be blacklisted.

8. At the end of the Jeopardy and Double Jeopardy round, the remaining eligible players will be written in the first post and will be the only players permitted to proceed to the next round.

9. If a question is being asked, you cannot ask for a question. You must wait until the question being asked has already been answered first.
