High elves have green eyes, dark hair and pale skin.
Wood Elves
Also called sylvan elves, wood elves have fair skin. Eyes are light brown, light green, or hazel. Hair is yellow to coppery red.
Grey Elves
Grey elves have silver hair and amber eyes or pale golden hair and violet eyes; the latter type are often called faeries. They have pale skin.
Dark Elves of Faerun
Dark elves Faerun (Forgotten Realms) have white hair and red eyes, or more rarely violet eyes. Very very rarely there will be an albino drow.
Dark Elves of Oerik
Dark elves of Oerik (World of Greyhawk) have black skin and white hair. Their eyes are yellow, orange and amber while some females rarely have violet eyes. In more recent sources, lazy authors have changed Oerik dark elves to have red eyes... don't not believe it, they are lazy liars trying to meld everything into Forgotten Realms. smile Those same recent sources added albino drow to Oerik and named them Szarkai (for which they will burn in hell if I have any say, lol).
