Wickit storms through the front doors. Something was wrong, people were running all over the place. The Staff looked like they had seen a ghost and the Durem Paramedics were there. After trying to stop a few people, he finally stamps down and shouts.
"What's going on here!?"
People in the immediate area stop to stare. He was getting annoyed, they had worked so hard to keep the party running smoothly and now, nothing but chaos.
"I was gone for five hours to try to book Jacks dancing skeletons for the Sunday ball, and now you're all running about like headless chickens! What happened?"

"Miss died," Dakki said and tapped the ashes off her cigarette.
"We're still looking for the guy."
Well, she wasn't exactly looking right now, but he had to still be in the theater somewhere.

The girl looks up, having just gone down to the foyer to recover her missing goods. She jumps mid-stride. "Cap'n. Something's wrong. The pictures..."She shudders, picking up her bag. "There's something horribly wrong." She salutes him briefly as her twin appears, groggy and disoriented. "Panic at the disco?"

"Your hiring skills SUCK." Zelda muttered, trying to get a signal on her cell phone. "There was a murder. And the reception here is UTTER GARBAGE." She quickly flipped the phone closed, then open again, and dialed a number. "I've been trying to call my husband for the past five minutes and I still can't get a signal here. There's a lot of blood in the theatre. Might wanna watch your step."

"Wait, what? You're all either being to vague or too blunt. Miss died? As in our Miss? Theater? Guy? What? How?"
Turning to Zelda.
"It's an old building, the made it to keep out the elements. But forget the phone, what is this murder business?"

"Your Miss, the one I take it you hired, has died a chainsaw-y death." Zelda said, holding the phone to her ear to try and get a signal. "It was quite sudden. The lights went out, they come back up, she's in literal pieces. Then the magician runs off."

Dakki let out a heavy sigh and a plume of smoke.
"During the magic act, Miss got cut in two...it was pretty....brutal. You should have seen it," she said and gestured to the theater entrance. "The lights went out and when they came back on the magician had the saw and everything, but he ran off I guess."

Sir, I regret to inform you that Miss, has indeed, joined the choir invisible. I'm here on assignment from a special task force designed for rapid response to homicides.
It's... A strange coincidence that they would choose me for this job. But then again, this is Durem, and stranger things have occured.

The dirtier looking one nods emphatically. "That she did. We didn't get to see the gory parts, but." She exhales sharply, scratching her throat; "The screams sufficed to tell the story." The pale one rubs her eyes. "We're trapped. The lady who died isn't gonna be happy...And I don't think this building is too cheery at the moment either."

"Wait, she's inpieces? As in no one has sorted her out yet? Maybe my hiring skills do suck..."
Wickit looked around. People were starting to gather. This was a mess... it took months of black mail and deception to get the Theater open again, and now this death was threatening to close down the party.
"Well who did it? You said they were in the Theater, but surely one of you saw the killer."
At this point, Savior had walked up.
"Oh good... an official. What have you found?"

Sir, from what I understand, the lights went out at the time of the killing. Nobody saw anything.

Teh Savior Sir, from what I understand, the lights went out at the time of the killing. Nobody saw anything. "Blast, I knew we should have sticked with candle light. But no, Durem has to have all of these fire laws now... But in other words, they could still be here. Do we have any suspects?"
