These being the files of one "Detective Sav," assigned to his current duties as part of an investigation of the murder of one "Miss Conception."




Entry #1: Arrived on scene, shortly after murder occured, alerted to death via' sensor grid placed throughout Durem. Grid's purpose is to detect murders as they occur by monitoring the energy output of the consciousness-waveform collapse efffect, when someone dies, an observer is lost, and it trips the grid. I honestly have no idea how it works, but the boys in tech really have some wild stuff.

Entry #2: Panic, Confusion, Contamination. Didn't these people know that a crime scene is to be left untouched? It's understandable that people would move the body, and I am grateful that someone thought to cover up the remains, but still, valuable evidence might have been destroyed.

Entry #3: Was handed a bloody knife by one "Michelle Chiba" who is apparently a reporter for GT(Gaia Tonight). Not certain where this fits with the crime, due to the murder weapon being(if my sources are correct) a chainsaw.

Entry #5: Strange, Log won't let me access slot ?. Must be some kind of glitch, will have to get it checked upon return to base. New information obtained upon closer observation of the corpse. Body appears to have been severed in two slightly above the hips, the flesh is torn in a way that would suggest a high speed saw, in which case we can definitely say that the murder weapon was the chainsaw.

Entry #6: Met with the owner of this establishment, he has given me full authority to interview suspects as well as what appears to be a decently sized sack of gold. Not sure what I can use the gold for, maybe it will come in handy to offset the cost of food for those people trapped here through no fault of their own.

What do you remember seeing when the lights came back on: Miss' body in two, lying in a pool of blood. That and a bunch of hysterical people.
What do you know about Thomas Wheeler: He's a magician
Can you think of any reason as to why Thomas would kill Miss Conception?: To give us a real shock? I have no idea.
A brief summary of your experiences as pertaining to the murder up until now: I haven't done much. I have seen Miss Conception's ghost, though.

Where you were when the lights went out: Sitting in the corner near the back.

What do you remember seeing when the lights came back on: The sick magician holding his weapon of choice with an odd expression upon his face. And there on the ground lay Miss Conception his assistant in 2 pieces.

What do you know about Thomas Wheeler:He takes his magic seriously or he's just a very good actor. He seems to have some sort of background relationship with Miss since he was the main act of the night. They seemed to have some distance between them also

Can you think of any reason as to why Thomas would kill Miss Conception?:He either seeks some sort of revenge or he mentally insane and was never diagnosed with this insanity.

A brief summary of your experiences as pertaining to the murder up until now:I was busy in my room studying some information on gaia for my travels that were scheduled for today. This interruption in my progess I had to make up for with some alone time. Not thinking about the case.

What do you remember seeing when the lights came back on: Hystirical people, and Thomas dropping the chainsaw and running. Tried running after him, but he had to much of a head start.
What do you know about Thomas Wheeler: Other than the fact that he is a magician, nothing.
Can you think of any reason as to why Thomas would kill Miss Conception?: Nope

Where you were when the lights went out: I was sitting in the middle row on the end.

What do you remember seeing when the lights came back on: I remember everyone calming down, then seeing the body and the magician all bloody.

What do you know about Thomas Wheeler: Well... he seemed like a nice guy but I am surprised i wouldn't suspect him of killing....

Can you think of any reason as to why Thomas would kill Miss Conception?: The only reason i can think of is... If he didn't kill her, Why is her hiding from us?

A brief summary of your experiences as pertaining to the murder up until now: I got my ticket from a nice lady, i found my seat and sat down, everyone was excited or not excited for the magic show, The man did a trick then called up the Miss and the lights went out, for a bit when they came back on The young lady was cut into pieces and the Magician was standing all bloody by the body, And then he ran off.... Nothing is really happening but we are just all still here.... Sadly.
