 Following the scent of cooking food, you wander through a gilded doorway into the Banquet Hall, your stomach grumbling. Within the airy room are dozens upon dozens of decorated tables, all arranged neatly and complete with flawless place settings. An overload of gold and white make you feel as though you're dining in a palace, but the large buffet table at the front of the room reminds you that this is still just a Halloween party. Spooky party favors adorn the room as well: black and orange streamers, cobwebs, and little paper ghosties hanging from the chandeliers. You're so hungry you barely notice, however. Plate in hand, you approach the buffet licking your lips. There's enough food here to feed an army, and then some! The kitchen staff are hard at work replenishing the supply whenever it seems to dwindle, and the variety is something to shake a stick at. From cute, pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies to the most elegant of gourmet pastas, everything you can imagine is laid out before you. The kitchen staff are known to take requests sometimes, as well. Bon appetit! If you feel like dancing once you've had your fill, there is a lacquered wood portion of the floor specifically for that purpose. Classical music plays from well-hidden speakers, and a romantic lighting makes this area a popular destination for couples.

Xikar entered the Hall, and took in a deep breath to smell all the food.
Grabbing a plate he piled on pancakes,bacon, eggs, and other breakfast foods.
He sat down at the far end of the table, and began eating.
Nobody else seemed to be around which is strange since he thought everybody would be hungry.

To Whom It May Concern,
Following her nose she entered the room.
"It smells...sooooo gooood!"
She rushed over to the table and piled as many pasta dishes as she could.
Pasta was her favorite and it was quite obvious.
She slowly began eating and watching everyone around her as she did.
"Mmmm..."
For the first time since she got here she wasn't smoking.

Menlusa entered the Banquet Hall feeling somewhat on edge. She gracefully walked beside the buffet table taking in the smells and images of Halloween decorations before she picked up a plate.
Being a vegetarian, she passed by the normal breakfast foods and settled for some fruit and breads. She was a bit disappointed to see that no alchohol was being served, but it made sense- being the morning and all. She took a glass of water and headed to one of the glamorous tables. Not wanting to seem rude, she sat near a man who was already eating and gave him a quick smile before she settled down and began slicing her apple with a little silver knife.

Xikar continued to eat as more and more people entered the Banquet Hall.
The food was delicious.Cleaning off his plate he stood up and got a glass of orange juice.
"Such a calm atmosphere, despite the circumstances of our staying" he thought to himself, his happy expression changing to concerned and determined.

To Whom It May Concern,
She finishes up eating and takes a spot on the dance floor, even though there was no one else on it.
"Such a lovely building..."
She slowly begins ballroom dancing by herself.
She pauses, lights a cig, then continues swirling around the room alone.
"la de...de dum...Mmhmmm..."
She even spins herself and includes the dips.
Seemingly unaware that anyone else is in the room.

Luckily the day was overcast, but Dakki still avoided the windows. Sunlight wouldn't kill her, but it was annoying and made her eyes sting and her skin itch.
She came into the banquet hall and sighed. If only a plate of bacon and eggs appealed to her anymore. A good breakfast used to be a delicacy to her, and now it might as well be a serving of sticks and dirt a child would pretend was food.
The people, though, she eyed. Any of them would be so easy to get to in their rooms...or even in the bathroom or alone and wandering the halls. But she was better than that, right?

 Qwake sat at the table sipping a cup of coffee. He had a restless night, full of waking up at the slightest noise, whether it be someone coughing in a near by room or the just the creaking of an old building. He was very happy to get a good cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast. He then noticed the woman dancing by herself"Good to see some people are cheery, despite the circumstances" He said, before sticking his fork into a piece of his omelet and brought it to his mouth to eat

Wat's stomach gave a huge roar upon entering the large room. Of course her eyes sparkled upon seeing all the delicious food but she managed to contain herself and stick with a fruit salad. "Mmmmn! So good! S-So how's e-e-everyone doing?" she managed to ask shyly.

Menlusa finished off the small fruits delicately, starting to feel her stomach do little turns in anticipation. She watched a girl dancing and smiled a little, tightening her gloves and with thinking deeply.
She was unable to get her lawyer on the phone, she was unable to leave Durem- to leave this building even, and it was starting to get to her.
She looked up at a woman who asked a question, and nodded towards her in answer. She was starting to feel unwell and brought her gloved fingers to her temple.

After a few more minutes of dancing she stopped and let out a deep breath.
She put out her cigarette and got a small cup of coffee. Though it was easily more sugar then coffee.
"No booze? Aw...Owell.."
She pulled out a small flask and poured a small amount of it's contents into the cup.
She sat down near the woman with the apple and sipped her coffee quietly.

She looked at the woman who sat near her, and eyed the small flask she poured into her cup with a little spark of jealousy.
"Nice dancing out there." She remarked with a slight smile in her voice.

She turns to the woman beside her and smiles, her cheeks red from blushing.
"Oh.... Thank you... I love to dance."
She drinks the last of her coffee and sets it aside.
"It's quiet today... kind of spooky, don't you think?"
She sighs to herself pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up.
She takes a few hits then begins humming.

"I would say so, you know, with the murder last night and all." she says wryly.
Her eyes turn towards the windows, where the sky has gotten increasingly more overcast with the last couple hours. She frowns and sips her water quietly.
"It doesn't help that we all seem to have been split up again. I don't know where half the other 'suspects' are. It makes me kind of nervous, you know?" she taps the side of her glass, anxious.
