Tripp hated her life before she was marked. She hated her mom, who was a drunk and a prostitue. She hated her dad who was seemingly never sober, and when he was he was gone, she even hated her younger brother who got away with stabbing her with a knife, [Which, by the way, wasn't the worst thing he'd ever done.]
She wasn't really popular and definatly had no friends. It was because of her clothes and ideas. The things she likes and the way she dressed. Not to mention, she was probably the smartest student at her school.
If it hadn't been for the traker marking her, she probably would have went insane
